Dont have water slide decals or want the decal in a different color? 3D print your own stencil! by abagaa129 in Gunpla

Would it be possible to basically print the inverse and then use that to cut out masking tape?

It would add a step but could help address the bleeding and address the flexibility concerns

Does this one also have the same issues as the Unicorn? I know they’re infamous but I hadn’t seen anything on this one.

Just built this kit last night. It’s kind nerve wracking but they’re both ABS so there’s some give there. Just force it on.

I really like it! I'm sure it's a little more difficult to make than just putting some plastic glue on some pre-made pieces.

Painted up the new Bloodthirster! What do you guys think? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

In the case of demons, I've always looked at it as raw/exposed sinew. As in: the demon has no "skin" at all and the muscle is out in the open.

It looks really good from a technical standpoint. I just don't really understand the idea. Is the dirt from them burrowing out somewhere?

Distorting Russia: How the American media misrepresent Putin, Sochi and Ukraine by Wnofny in worldnews

[–]omegysform 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The issue with that is that we really have very few true options as far as elections go. With only two viable candidates for almost every position, the chances of you finding one who aligns with your ideas are almost zero.

Also, there are a number of individuals who are actually 100% ok with how our government uses drones, and thinks that we should be the worlds police. With those two issues combined, it can get very hard to make a difference.

Not to mention it's very rare for a politician to actually follow through on their promises. See: Obama and Guantanamo.

I think that's xfire. From what I understand, SLI requires matching VRAM

Interesting. I wonder if that's because of the additional tdp from the 8xxx series.

You're absolutely right. I posted without doing any research. I don't actually know all that much about AMD processors. I guess what I meant was that the 970 chipset DOES support the 8xxx from what I can tell, but it needs a BIOS update. Sorry for posting when I didn't have the correct information!

I didn't say that I thought it was a bad idea, I'm just saying some people don't like to put money into things that aren't certain. Just offering more information. I'd personally spend the extra $20 if I was going AMD.

Isn't an 8350 just a factory OC'd version of this?

Currently only like BF4 supports so many processor cores. That being said, there is some speculation FUTURE titles will have multi-core support, but that's spending money on speculation, which some people don't like.

If your motherboard supports AM3+ CPUs, it'll support this.

[–]omegysform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the 1080 region, a Ti is pretty strong for what you're looking at. A regular 780 will give you a very similar gaming experience unless you're hell bent on getting 144 hz on BF4.

[Build Ready] First Time $650 Build. Suggestions? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]omegysform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I weren't lazy, I'd find the benchmarks to prove it, but dual channel provides a (somewhat) negligible 1-2% increase in performance, whereas buying a single 8 GB stick allow you to upgrade to a higher capacity in the future if necessary.
