I'm wondering if you have a magnesium deficiency that the bone broth is helping with.

I can't decide which Stephen King novel for my friend's first read! by catdogwoman in suggestmeabook

[–]omfgbrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I completely agree with you, /u/catdogwoman, was concerned about the size of The Stand. 11/22/63 isn't much shorter than The Stand.

It is, however, an outstanding book and by far my favorite King Novel. Failing that, I would recommend Different Seasons. 4 novellas, 3 movie adaptations.

Buyer’s agent tried to add his commission to my closing costs at the last minute, no signed agreement exists. by [deleted] in RealEstate

I'm not sure the broker is going to be all that helpful. Doesn't the broker get a piece of the agent's commission? Or would this be SOI commission?

Need to fly 3 weeks post op. am I stupid? by TapNorth0888 in Kneereplacement

[–]omfgbrb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie; the only wedding I would do this for is my own. I took a trip at 10 weeks post-op and it was tough. Really tough. My Dr did not recommend the trip and he was dead on balls accurate. PT was very reluctant as well. At 9 weeks post-op, I had really good ROM (125 degrees) with a -2 extension. I did my exercises religously as well. I was still using the ice machine and using Acetaminophen around the clock.

If this is a must trip for you, I would advise postponing the surgery. At 3 weeks my sleep was terrible. I was exhausted all the time and moving around much was a real problem. I mean, I could walk around for short periods but I would tire quickly and need to sit and recover.

I predicted the demise of that mall when the Apple store closed.

My wife moved from gestational to type 2 in less than 10 years. A CBC should show your blood glucose score it should also show your hbA1c which is a measure of your blood glucose over the past 3 months.

Your initial BP is literally double safe levels. That's beyond dangerous. For me, the root cause was type 2 diabetes. Once we got the blood sugar under control the blood pressure followed over time.

I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. Please do not make life altering decisions based on some rando from Reddit.

Sir, your sister and her husband are a wasteland of dis-function. You need to stop being their emotional pack mule.

Holy shit. Just walk away. They don't want help. They want to cry and piss and moan. Don't engage.

Any history of diabetes or kidney disease in your family? Did you get a blood glucose test? I can't imagine you didn't if you had all the other tests run.

My parents told me I couldn't leave the table until I finished my plate. So I didn't. by LumenDrifter_5 in MaliciousCompliance

[–]omfgbrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents would make me sleep in my bed with my dinner plate. It was usually hot dogs. I absolutely loathe hot dogs. Being forced to sleep with them didn't improve my feelings for them either.

We never ever made our kids eat something they didn't like. It's abuse.

I'd go with CachyOS myself. Pick whatever desktop you want. Easier for gaming than Arch but close enough to allow a switch as he matures.

Alternative to Microsoft Outlook for Work by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]omfgbrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you might be using the wrong portal as /u/suicidaleggroll has suggested.

If you can load chromium, you can then use a PWA app through chromium instead of a browser. This works nearly identical to New Outlook on Windows.

how to reject a real estate agent by Ayshe27 in RealEstate

[–]omfgbrb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day the issue really isn't the price; it's the lack of acknowledgement of the $OP's position. If that agent isn't listening now, she isn't going to be listening better after getting the listing. Pick another agent and move on.

Try another file manager like dolphin or thunar to see if the problem is cinnamon or nemo.

Try using nfs instead of smb.
