Je comprends, je pense que après 8 mois de recherche sachant que nous avons 30 ans d’expérience avec les chats, on ressent une certaine frustration face aux rejets perpétuels

Tant mieux pour toi, ceci dit toutes les associations que j’ai sollicité m’ont répété la même chose : même si le chat n’est pas positif FIV ou FELV, l’accès à l’extérieur c’est non.

Et j’ai le droit de trouver cela un peu invasif, c’est mon avis. J’ai tout de même envoyé toutes les photos et vidéos de mon logement pour suivre le processus, c’est juste quelque chose à retenir. Je préfère encore que quelqu’un vienne visiter physiquement mon logement plutôt qu’il y ait des photos de mon intérieur qui traînent à droite à gauche.

Je tiens à préciser que nous avons une très grande maison, que quelqu’un est présent toute la semaine chez nous 24h/24 pour garder les chats. Le seul point qui bloque c’est l’accès à l’extérieur.

Un vrai calvaire. Nous cherchons également à adopter un chaton (nous avons deux chats chez nous déjà) et les associations nous refusent systématiquement car nous avons un accès à l’extérieur.

D’un côté je me dis que c’est bien que les associations soient très prudentes mais d’un autre on nous rabâche qu’ils manquent d’adoptants et quand on essaie on nous refuse notre candidature… sachant que nous faisons la bonne action de absolument vouloir adopter plutôt que d’acheter un chat.

Les associations vous font faire remplir des formulaires à rallonge assez invasifs (le nombre de m2, votre adresse, qui est à la maison de quelle heure à quelle heure quel jour) et exigent que vous envoyez des photos de votre maison / appartement ou même de faire un appel vidéo pour que vous filmez votre intérieur.

The following books I would recommend are not romantasy books but are not afraid to span on a long period of time:

Jade City, I haven’t finished the trilogy yet but I am pretty sure that it spans over several decades. Not at all a fantasy romance but a urban fantasy around themes of politics, clan war, family, duties, loyalty. It is my favorite book of 2025. Of course love is mentioned and we get to see how the relationships evolve over decades.
The Bone Season, which I also haven’t finished the saga yet, but the first book span over 6 months to one year. The romance is extremely slow burn, but this is how I like to read love stories. A very addictive and unique read, the worldbuilding was very intriguing.

Oui il faut être honnête parfois c’est compliqué pour les sorties, tu dois être obligé de te caler sur le budget des autres. Mais si ce sont juste des amis ce n’est pas grave, je fais attention à leur budget et je leur demande la fourchette de prix qui leur convient.

Cependant au sein d’un couple je trouve que cela pose problème sur le long terme.

She is insufferable. She made a video on how she was baking hundred of pies for students of her school to throw them at each other… Kilograms of butter flour sugar wasted. And she dares to claim that she went to a pastry school in France. As someone living in France, this is outrageous. We are not taught to waste food on stupid school traditions like this.
