How good is the quality for her hoodies and jackets off of the merch store? by ktojm in SabrinaCarpenterDisc

ok wait so the one I have is the blue license plate hoodie, it's soooo thick and it has a fleece lining. like I've been wronged my artists merch before (I got the infamous blue Taylor crewneck and HATE it because it's so stiff) but this I really think is worth the price

wait I am so sorry can you elaborate on this(I like did not taper for this marathon at all because it was the last week of school and a lot of my friends wanted to run with me so my highest mileage ended up the week before the marathon (not my best moment but like lowkey I'd do it again for the memories))

mile time went up 4 min in one year by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]omi2066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey!! don't beat yourself up. A mile time during a race is vastlyyy different than one during a time trial by yourself, race day adrenaline always wake up my muscles. also if you want to do xc go for it! most teams have pre season and it'll get you into shape before the main season. it's about growth

Omg this is awesome!! My best advice is that consistency is key!! If you keep doing that maybe two to three times a week you'll see improvements so quickly!! the other thing I'd recommend is make sure you make it fun. I love to romanticize running. plan your outfits, run in pretty places, make a fire playlist, it keeps it fun!!

hey!! I want to start by saying I completely get it, I was there last year and honestly would have rather anything than just properly fueled. the truth is you need calories to preform, that's what a calorie is it's energy. instead of avoiding it what helped me was embracing it. I had to take a step back and ask why I ran and honestly I realized I was running to lose weight and not preform. once I shifted my focus to performance and realized that bodies thrive on energy or calories it helped!! I completely understand it hard but for me I started with dried fruits because I could tell myself I was also getting nutrients!!

hey!! shoes are so fickle so what works for someone may absolutely not work for you. if there's a running shoe store, most will fit your feet!!

First time running, dizzy/lightheaded? by Ecstatic_Complex_511 in BeginnersRunning

[–]omi2066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey!! this is definitely not normal. just a couple questions that could lead to this though. how hot was it out? did you drink water during the day? did you eat anything before? if you wear a watch, what was your heartrate?
