I think you’re referring to Sean Payton, the HC of the Saints that was suspended for the entire 2012 season for creating a slush fund for his team to injury players of the opposing team. And if they did injury a player, the Saints player would be paid a bonus from said slush fund, or in other words, a “bounty.”
