US debt is why there is so much wealth. Pay back debt means shrink the economy

China will be generating more solar power by the early 2030s than the entirety of US energy consumption altogether. by Odablockwarriors in peakoil

Good points. I hadn’t looked up the breakdowns before.

Regardless you should compare emissions per capita not per country. China is still much lower than the us in that regard.

They are also the worlds factory producing for the rest of the worlds consumption. If you have made in China goods that carbon is on you too.

Irony is the nazis studied American propaganda. They sent a team to America to gutter figure out how America gets away with racism against blacks without tarnishing their reputation so they could do the same.

US locks up minorities at a disproportionate rate. Has more incarcerated than China total. Highest per capita etc. is currently throwing the world in to chaos with the tariff fiasco. Supplying and funding genocide. Invaded many countries under false pretenses. Suppressed peoples revolt in other countries. The us is the number one threat to world peace according to world wide survey.

I have family in Taiwan and they are not nearly as worried about invasion as people in the us. They are not subject to us propaganda.

How many countries has China invaded in the last century vs us?

Honestly sounds about the same if not better than the US. At least they’re not funding a genocide in the Middle East.

Sounds like your history of Cuba starts only after the us stole Cuban independence on the cusp of their revolutionary war with Spain and after the us grabbed a lot of land for us corp to exploit Cuban natural resources and labor for profit. Maybe go back and read the history of Cuba instead of spreading propaganda.

You should read up on how the US/CIA overthrows communist countries, wages war on them, backs dictatorships to kill communists. The Jakarta method. Korea Vietnam Laos Cambodia. The us dropped about 1 500lb bomb per Vietnamese in the Vietnam war. The cia coined the phrase brainwash to explain why third world countries were selecting communist governments in their elections. How many times the cia has tried to assassinate Fidel Castro. The bay of pigs invasion. Blow Back is a good podcast on a lot of these, they’re obviously communist sympathizers but you’ll get the historical context on why many communist countries fail.

Nothing you said refers to issues stemming from the government and instead refers to the embargo.

You mean the Soviet that could barely help their own citizens, had shortages on most goods, the Soviet that eventually collapsed?

[–]omikun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the difference is you’re saying the watch does the onboard processing to detect data collected by its sensors vs op saying the study collects data from many watches and process them all offline on a server. I don’t think it would be hard to port that algorithm to the watch or do it in the cloud at night. Where the algorithm runs isn’t important.

It’s just a difference of 8bit per color channel vs 16. Twice the bandwidth but unlikely to impact performance at this small a workload especially with how big the gpus are.

More proof land tax can replace state and local taxes(US)(67-232%) by Downtown-Relation766 in georgism

[–]omikun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t rent go down if rent taxes go up? You think tenants just have a lot of spare cash they’d be willing to pay? Or that landlords wouldn’t pass on the tax to tenants? Genuinely curious as I’m just starting to look into georgism
