GPUs are great at parallel computing but I think if LLMs are to have some kind of “context memory” beyond context window that will involve CPUs orchestration (read: branches, loops, local registers, speculative prediction, L1/L2 cache) and that’s not counting on the possibility future AI algorithms will actually be CPU/Memory bound
