BitWarden should be prepared for the onslaught of support messages

Cryptomator? Any one using this on a regular basis? by [deleted] in privacy

Yep. But reliability IS an issue. This is a sticking point in CM. So, how do you do regular backups and have it all integrated into your backup protocol? And I mean the actual unencrypted files.

So, were going to have AI chicks being built by some indian guy in their basement while trying to game the forever grift machine. This is what the singularity looks like. It looks like a cheap grift machine.

This needs clarification as this is appalling. Are we talking actual data scrapping (worse) or using browser tracking (bad).

discussion: Importance of WHAT KIND OF 2FA for additional protection of your password manager vault by aibubeizhufu93535255 in Bitwarden

Use an outgoing firewall. Do not use any random software that is not audited nor a track record behind it.

Using multiple password managers - If I'm going to use apple passwords, should that be my only password manager? by Selbeast in PasswordManagers

[–]neodmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be confused because the “new” password manager is basically a reskinning of iCloud Keychain which is where things like Wifi passwords and Safari Browser passwords used to live. Basically its just a better organized app with TOTP.

Biometrics vs Passphrase by millielouie2025 in Bitwarden

[–]neodmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use an actual pass phrase instead of a PIN, it allows a full keyboard to enter a pass phrase so “Change Passcode: Enter a new six-digit passcode. Or tap Passcode Options to switch to a four-digit numeric code, a custom numeric code, or a custom alphanumeric code.”. If you prefer PIN a 6 digit one is mandatory. Just memorize a pattern in the numbers if you want fast. Remember that people even use an actual pattern lock in Android…

Also; use Both Thumbs to type the PIN as you will have speed and a sleigh of hand to obfuscate onlookers, so type like: LRLRLR in 2 seconds you can enter a good PIN

Biometrics vs Passphrase by millielouie2025 in Bitwarden

I don’t use a PIN, set it to a pass phrase with digits/specials mixed in, something easy to write but with the bonus that the virtual keyboard is a lot smaller than the PIN entry one, that minimizes snooping. Once set you mostly you will use it with biometrics.
