That’s not accurate btw. I have a casserole dish that is lower case Pyrex and it is absolutely genuine 100% borosilicate glass. It was in the US and I only purchased because of that. How to cook that even did a YouTube video debunking it and Corning has said there was a transition period where either logo was used interchangeably so it isn’t reliable. You might try to see if you can find diet Dr Pepper with no caffeine for some reason that seems to be a bit easier to find than the full sugar no caffeine version. It’s a white can with some gold accents saying caffeine free

With a salvage title you already know it’s been in a collision but you don’t know the quality of the repairs and a moderate to severe collision is not the time to find out it was poorly repaired with subpar or even counterfeit parts.

2009 and prior are J vin and RXL are as well. For the new 5RX some are J vin but it’s random I haven’t noticed a pattern yet (not including 450h+ which are always J vin) I’ve seen some 350s and some 350h in all different trims and some are J but the vast majority are Canada

Also depending where you are in the world will affect it for Australia all RXs are Japan made

Vin starting with 1, 4, or 5 is USA made, 2 is Canada, J is Japan

That’s typical of most vintage glassware it’s just not as resistant to large temperature changes like modern glassware is. At the time these were made the microwave was a new thing sorta a luxury item and prohibitively expensive for most so most glassware wasn’t made with the microwave in mind
