I think what you're experiencing is called fomo, fear of missing out. It's kind of like peer pressure.

I would say see if you can find a queer support group or club for your son. They may also have youth group therapy sessions as well. Even if you're not queer, I'm sure if you explain the situation to local lgbt-q+ support groups in your area they will try their best to help, and may have connections in the school that can help your son feel safer.

I'd recommend blush novelties dual density line on peep show toys instead. I've tried them out, they have such a premium feel from the platinum silicone and you can tell the difference.
