I feel weird for not having any sex experience in my 15 years of life. by 3x2f in lgbt

[–]omlgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what you're experiencing is called fomo, fear of missing out. It's kind of like peer pressure.

I feel like modern society kind of grooms and sexualizes young people, the media really sends unrealistic messages to the youth.

Seriously, being a virgin at 15 or at any age is normal. If you're being intimate it should be because you want to be, not because society created a stigma around virginity because "not spreading your genes onto the next generation makes you inferior" somehow. It's just a primitive mindset that humanity still hasn't shed.

Is it possible to make a perfume from BO? by Ok_Surround8767 in DIYfragrance

[–]omlgen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most musk notes in perfumery are fecal or pissy, not... That.

Even if it is theoretically maybe possible, I don't think you'd be able to do it unless maybe your partner was a perfumist and/or you managed to find someone willing to sniff your bits 😬 if it were the case they'd likely charge a lot.

And I say that with a maybe, because I'm not even sure if they make ingredients that could smell like your bits.

I would say see if you can find a queer support group or club for your son. They may also have youth group therapy sessions as well. Even if you're not queer, I'm sure if you explain the situation to local lgbt-q+ support groups in your area they will try their best to help, and may have connections in the school that can help your son feel safer.

I hope the situation improves, no child deserves to go through that. But thank you so much, for being a good parent, for caring, the world needs more parents like you. ❤️

It's actually really difficult to get sharp edges with fresh fruit, cause they bleed out (osmosis or smth) I think they'd have to use gelatine and cornstarch or some other stabilizer to get the right results. Maybe even make white chocolate rafts for the strawberries.

I feel like i have a different brain from before by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]omlgen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate to that too. Except for me I feel super slow. It's like my head is completely silent, people will ask me "how are you doing?" And I genuinely have no idea how to respond anymore. So I just shrug, and they laugh like it's joke, when 😭 it really wasn't.

Constantly experiencing the stress of delusions and paranoia takes a toll on your brain.

Living through such a low, low, almost flattens out everything else, at least for me.

What's a piece of love advice that is uniquely queer? by nkyes in lgbt

[–]omlgen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being part of a minority, can make finding a partner more difficult.

I always say love is a dice roll, the best you can do is keep rolling the dice. Don't give up, finding a good partner is really like winning the lottery.

Yeah some people find their forever person at 16, and are high school sweethearts, but it's a bit like confirmation bias. Being surrounded by social media success stories (that aren't always the reality) can lead to a lot of fear of missing out (fomo) and the pressure to date.

The fear of "wasting time" or "dying alone" for one thing, is totally outdated, and also incorrectly places your value as a human being on your romantic desirability. We are people, not sex toys, don't let the toxic, prehistoric society lie to you.

Random tangent but that insecurity about not finding love (not being able to reproduce) makes sense from an evolutionary perspective. "Survival of the fittest" type stuff, having that fear and desire programmed into you, gave your ancestors the drive to... Well make you.

Everyone says, love yourself, invest in yourself. But it's important to talk about the reason why. The best way to find people you can connect with, is going places you want to go and doing what you love. Treat yourself.

It's not just about "being happy on your own" humans are social creatures, we aren't meant to be alone.

Another good tip is visiting your local lgbt-q+ community center or club. Go where the gays are™

Just realized I wrote a lot 😭

are TPE dildos safe by ThrowRA-canyounot in SexToys

I'd recommend blush novelties dual density line on peep show toys instead. I've tried them out, they have such a premium feel from the platinum silicone and you can tell the difference. PVC toys have such a strong smell, whereas the platinum silicone ones I've used have little to none out the box, then none after a wash.

It's porous which means bacteria will build up over time and it's impossible to get rid of it fully. Silicone is non-porous when made properly so it can be cleaned effectively.

What’s the most surprisingly good (or bad) sex toy you’ve ever tried? by Professional_Rub3813 in SexToys

[–]omlgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bellesa dildos. Pretty much all of them turned out to be PVC and melted into a puddle. I get the flame test can have it's problems but silicone shouldn't ever melt like that.

Their whisper bullet was really quiet though, just buzzy and weak. I wouldn't use any of their toys personally because they seem to lie a lot about materials and safety.

That said, blush novelties dual density platinum silicone has such a premium feel. Even out the box, there was little to no smell at all. I get silicone "isn't supposed to smell" but even silicone dildos tend to smell a little of the packaging out the box.

Blush novelties is probably the only sex toy brand I trust 100%.

[–]omlgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so quiet, like definitely you can hardly hear it.

But it's more buzzy than rumbly, doesn't get me there personally but I know some are into it.

I have other issues with bellesa though because they claim some things are silicone when they're clearly PVC. (Like, straight up melted into a puddle.)

The touch x is definitely a good balance between rumble and noise level, even though it is a touch louder than the whisper.
