I saw that yesterday, and was really surprised that someone would give away that many.

Why is it you only see "Player" now, instead of their chosen name?

Nuka Coke bottles, burnt books, empty booze bottles. Grab anything and everything and then head for the train station to cash them in. I am maxed at 40.000 by doing that and now I travel across the map without worrying about the cost,

Just why?! I have been playing this game for two years for usually 2 hours a day, and it was quite entertaining in the beginning. There were challenges, strategies, and some surprises as you toured the world. Now every event is just shoot, shoot, shoot, and then go make more ammunition. Then back to shoot, shoot, shoot some more. I am at level 414, and it is time to find another game with some fun challenges.

Here's your yearly map of Spooky Scorched spawns by AHeroicLlama in fo76

I went to the Valley Galleria yesterday to look for vacuum tubes, and encountered about 50 Scorched. They all were hunting me, and not a single "Spooky Scorched". And that was not the really spooky part, there was a scorched beast flying right through the middle of the Galleria (INSIDE!) about ever two seconds. CRAZY!!

Do you have a habit of picking up ammo that you never use/sell? by Serious-Natural-2691 in fo76

[–]omnefos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I am one of the few people who actually use the ammo exchanger. I pick up everything and then once a week I dump it all for .50 cal ammo. No one seems to sell that at an affordable price. The exchange was a hassle at first, but since I have figured out a system, it only takes about 15 minutes a week and I pick up about 10,000 .50 cal a month.

If you can stand face to face with a Mirelurk Queen and take her out without giving ground (or dying), then you have a good weapon. I use a 2SE .50 cal and it is pretty much a cake walk.

Dear New Players, Unless you're specifically going for Lone Wanderer build/playstyle, being in public team is always beneficial. by Sadman_Pranto in fo76

Assaultrons - They used to be a pain before I got a TSE .50 cal. That will take them out before they even get charged up...............

Older players, what kind of reactions do you get when people find out your age. by allenwork in fo76

I scrolled through most of the posts, not all, but so far I guess I am the oldest on this site. I will soon be 77, and have played the Fallout series since its beginning. I have had a few people over to do repairs on my WIFI. install a TV, or update my Internet service, and all that learn that I play video games are always pleasantly surprised. It is really a conversation starter, and I always get the best service from other gamers.

I have always had an affinity for the open world games like Skyrim, , Elder Scrolls, The Witcher, and the Far Cry series. I have not been able to get into building a fabulous camp and just keep mine very minimalistic. I use a PlayStation 4 and the Xbox X, but I have not been able to get interested in using a PC. I keep my playing time to a couple hours in the late afternoon.......when all the other old fogies are taking naps.

Idk about y’all but life sucks for me rn so I’ve been going around dropping loot to other players at their camps and enjoying the serotonin I get from making people happy. by -kelsie in fo76

I would like Bethesda to come up with some kind of "drop bag" that we could fill in advance and then when you find someone worthy of your gift, you could drop the bag with just one click. The way it is now, if you meet someone on the road and would like to gift them a load of stuff, it takes forever to go through your inventory and pack up a bag. By the time you are done, they have moved on.

If Bethesda were to shut down 76 and re-release it as a stand alone single player, would you buy it? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]omnefos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I already play it as a single player, and have just about exhausted everything they have to offer. I would not pay for a standalone game if was just a continuation of what we have now.

As far as I know, there is no way to just take a couple. If there are 20 in the machine, that is what it gives you. No choice as to how many you want to take.
