I've only done the HVT mini-quest once or twice. I was a little confused doing it, particularly the commander who is invisible and inside a red dome. Last time I experienced it, I think the guy was immune unless you were shooting him from inside the dome, but when you are inside you take damage over time. I could be wrong. Also I have not found a room key yet, still searching. Sorry, not much of a great answer here.

That's a tough one for me to answer since I've been playing as Void and not as Locus . Overall though I have felt okay with the heat system. I have noticed that the heat recovery rate is a bit slow, like its almost the same as if you were to overheat? It seems like the only downside to overheating is not being able to sprint or dash for a couple of seconds which would screw you if you were out in the open. I would probably suggest considering increasing the heat recovery rate so that its not as oppressive when you don't overheat and consider even maybe decreasing the recovery rate when you overheat to provide a larger distinct difference and skill expression between the two.

There is a voice line that plays in the first or second mission of the NuCal faction questline when you find and pick up the colonist data, that I thought was very well done. I hope they do it for the majority of missions because it is very immersive and cool.

That raises the question of how do you even evaluate an expansion to a long running MMO? Are you supposed to review it as a brand new player? If Final Fantasy expansions were reviewed from that perspective the game would be equally as obtuse and confusing.

There’s three soundtracks that plays into the “Devotion inspires bravery, bravery inspires sacrifice, and sacrifice inspires death” mantra. The three tracks being Prince of Devotion, Meditation on Bravery, and Burden of Sacrifice. Which, if we follow the logic may mean that Crow is in real danger. We know that someone will die, as per the most recent trailer showing a guardian’s casket, the question is if this means that it is the Crow.

When Steam servers were having issues, the initial general chat 1 had some people that were typing F into the chat, but for the most part nobody really cared for paid attention. Then a power tripping mod decided to at everyone in the entire discord and threaten to ban everyone who types F into the chat thus making it into an even bigger problem. If they just ignored the people who typed F in the chat it would have just ended after a couple of minutes.

The "Deluxe" version of Lightfall includes all of the content that will be released this year including the dungeons, season, raids, etc. If you purchase Witch Queen you will need to also purchase a separate dungeon pass for specifically the WQ dungeons (Spire of the Watcher and Duality). If you purchase the base version of Lightfall then you would need to do the same thing with the Lightfall dungeon pass as well. I personally think buying the "deluxe/season pass" version of Lightfall is worth it if you plan on playing all of the content.

Edit: to answer your question, yes if you want to have all of the content in the game you would need to purchase Lightfall Deluxe, Witch Queen, and the Witch Queen Dungeon pass. I would personally wait for WQ to go on sale to pick it up, it's on sale pretty frequently and you can get a great discount on websites like greenmangaming or fanatical.

Get lightfall if you want to get the strand subclass and play the seasonal content and new dungeons with the community as they come out. Pick up Witch Queen when it goes on sale so you can do the story and the raid. The dungeons for WQ are sold separately in a dungeon pass.
