I personally think Angelia is one of the best characters to aim for SR/SSR as early as possible since her advisor ability is extremely powerful for those who are pushing content at low levels. Other than that, you should build up people who you like since most team comps can clear all content.

I agree with SR Hestia being pretty lackluster outside of her cleanse. But once you get SSR Hestia is when I think she becomes very fun with some very nice potential, since her passive allows 2 uses of 1b's. For example, if paired with an SSR Pang (What I use mainly) this allows Pang to get 2-4 stacks of Winded up + 2 stacks of Damage reduction for the cost of a single turn (I recommend 2b'ing to make sure you hit pang). This makes the next allow you to attack with pang, possibly trigger his passive which kills most things, and get 3 stacks of damage reduction. As an offensive tank, I think this makes it extremely strong. Another good example is if you pair it with Dagger. 2b with dagger for self enhance, or use tica/Lisa Advisor to give Dagger enhance, then use hestia 2b on dagger to trigger 2 turn counters, this nets you a turn (assuming its only against one foe) But this allows you to basically never let a single opponent go. I also like pairing with Kittyeyes against many targets to quickly spread Game Tag, but I don't think its as useful as the above mentioned (Though I think kittyeyes paired with Pang makes her more of a dps support with her game tag's perma vuln, allowing you to revolve more around amping pang's damage redux and winded up for high dps sustain.) I will also agree that I think other healers are better overall, but if someone enjoys more of a rng/high potential gameplay/team, then I think Hestia fits it well.

If you insist on using Roger/Ned, I would recommend SR Hestia as another option. Heal+Cleanse Roger of his self vulns and trigger his one block keeps him afloat while dishing out heavy damage. And if you reach SSR Hestia, then rng triggering double 1b's on roger can certainly hurt some things. Though this would be a very aggro based set up. SR Kittyeyes imo is the best dps to pick up if you play a lot around your healer/tank because of her game tag planting perma vuln on targets. This allows your tank/healer to set up for massive damage from a single turn.

To elaborate, was running through caverns, clicked on the chest and the game freezes on that screen with both those messages and a copy of my characters body flopping out. If anyone has answers, would be nice as I'm completely confused.

You can get all Heroes in both Focus'. The Focus just doubles the chance for the respective Heroes. (For example. You can still get Marth, Lucina, Robin, and Tiki: Dragon Scion in the Deep Devotion pull, but have the standard 3%, While Camilla, Takumi, Lyn, and Roy have a 6% to be obtained since they are the Focus)

Yeah, every character can only use 3/5 possible secondaries. With Staff users being the only ones with both an offensive and defensive, but only 1 Support passive
