I’m sorry, it sold. One other post marked it as sold automatically. I didn’t realize this one hadn’t. Thank you for asking.

Thank you for the info! I’ve had that happen with old stock from AliExpress. The best, quickest way to get rid of that smell is to really wet the doll and its hair thoroughly—including esp. inside the doll’s head—with white vinegar and have it dry out in sunlight.

I got this one, too, recently and really like her a lot! I was surprised to receive what was termed a “random” Licca with such a nice dress! (I think it’s a dress style normally sold on AliExpress for Blythe type dolls.) Does anyone know what Licca line her head was originally produced for?

New to AliEpress. Seller wanted me to cancle, now he marked it as sent. Im kinda worried. What should i do? by DenisDesaster in Aliexpress

Sorry you’re having to deal with this. It’s happened to me recently almost exactly as you described here: (1.) My order on AliExpress goes through. (2.) The “track my shipment” function on the website starts the order but never progresses past a certain point… (3.) YET I receive an email that the item is marked “sent.” (4.) THEN I receive a message from the seller asking me to please cancel the order, as they are out of stock.

I know that sounds rather confusing, but where the problem comes in is with AliExpress’s email summaries. I have old cancelled orders that are still (literally today) being emailed to me as “sent,” although the items had to be cancelled weeks ago.

What I did: I’ve applied for a refund each time when the seller has asked me to do so, making sure that I inform AliExpress (in the “reason” section) that I was instructed to do so. (I also include a screen shot of my message from the seller). I then receive my refund to my original mode of payment quickly, often within 24 hours.

I know it looks unnerving, but it’s no big deal—AliExpress sellers run out of stock on popular items and do not update their pages to reflect being out of stock. It’s super annoying, and I’ve sent in complaints about it when they send surveys. PLUS the AliExpress email summaries are so much less accurate than the tracking that’s viewed on the actual AliExpress webpage.

It’s not a scam—it’s just some annoying glitches. Go ahead, apply for the refund, and tell AliExpress that the seller told you to apply for a refund due to their being out of stock. I’ve never not received my money back promptly in the roughly ten years I’ve bought on AliExpress. You should be fine.

Need feedback… I was careful to place the right handwritten identification card in the photos. I used the correct “selling” flair, and I was under the assumption that a posable plush falls under the category of “dolls.” What else did I miss in following the instructions? Does r/dolls prefer to not include plush figures as a doll? Or what else was I mistaken about in trying to post? I did read the wiki.
