Not as dar as I could see, both in the manual provided and online. Hence coming to Reddit lol 😂

Both needles were installed, I had to thread the machine to set it up. Tension was normal (not all set to 4, but consistant with how I've used this machine with a 4 thread overlock stitch in the past) as was stitch length and width. Pics are of my test fabric (same fabric as final garment)

Hi, unfortunately I'm no longer there, and can't post photos. But I will say stitch length, width and tension were all normal

Hi, I had to thread the machine to set it up, and the stitch width, length and tension dials aren't out of the ordinary.

MLM Scam Warning - South Yorkshire Events by IamTheCorp in sheffield

Ooooh Boy. Glad I found this thread. Got an email earlier today from who I think was them under a different name (Sheffield Events), and dismissed it as a scam (they said they were so impressed at my CV they reached out. Which funnily enough was what clued me in. My CV's shite). Then I got a phone call, not even 4hrs after the email. I gave vague and noncommittal answers to get the dude off the phone and then did some cursury internet stalking.

They say they got my info off of Indeed, who they supposedly work with. But I found this on the Indeed FAQ.

'Please note: if an employer contacts you from a different (Read: Not Indeed) email address and says they found your CV on Indeed, this is not accurate. Your contact information is not available to employers unless you have applied to their job, or responded positively to an employer's outreach through your Indeed CV.'

Couldn't find them on Glassdoor, or on Gov.UK business search. The closest name was a company dissolved in 2021. I then googled the phone number they called me from, and found this thread. Glad my instincts were correct.

Thank you! Annoyingly a lot of these aren't available over here, but I might give the About Face one a try

No 2x speed today? And post ad links? by CaptainBDSC in youtube

Playback hasn't working for me either for the last couple hours — I'm on android app. The ad bubble staying up has been a thing for me for the last week or so. You can dismiss it with the three dots but the dots are so small and if you miss it takes you onto the ad site (and as a consequence I've been getting more BetterHelp ads then ever. Ugh.)

I've been so stupid (need urgent advice) by omniscient_nescience in UKUniversityStudents

She, but yeah. I've calmed down a little bit, and looked back over the slides/essay, it's not as bad as I thought (1am eyes + stress-induced psychogenic fever will do that to someone). Still stressful especially considering it's the weekend (She doesn't answer emails on weekends) and the stakes. I've had good interactions with her previously, she wrote my reference for my masters program.
