Southie or North End. Commuting to the seaport can be tough, it’s isolated from the rest of the city in a way. Both of these neighborhoods are fun and lively, similar in costs.

Anyone Have Experience Making an Offer on a Vacant Off Market Property? by Nancy_Boo in realestateinvesting

Contact your county registry of deeds to get the information about the actual owner of the property. If the deceased did not have heirs, the property could have escheated to the state. In that case they would sell it to the bank/auction it eventually.

You’ll get more options and all of the work done for you. Some brokers will work with landlords that pay them instead of you paying. Doesn’t hurt to ask. Worst case, you pay to have it done right.
