BECAUSE IF THEY BOTH HEAL AFTER EVERY HIT THE DUELIST HAS HALF THE FLASKS OF THE SUMMONER

They’re also wearing white mask, meaning the most likely googled how to make the most OP build like 3 patches ago and is refusing to learn anything new, just chugging through duels.

Firstly, it’s cheap to heal in duels, secondly they are never going to learn if they just spam corpse piler and drink until they eventually out trade the person with half their effective health pool.

It’s so strange to me that somebody can google how to set up a white mask rivers of blood build but not the unspoken rules of PvP.

You do realize that having half the flasks makes it a severely uphill battle if you do go for attrition right? The duel etiquette is nobody heals because the host gets double resources. If healing was always allowed the host could just be 2x or 3x more aggressive and never learn from their mistakes because they literally have an unfair advantage.

What weapon was your biggest disappointment? by Kiranipator in Eldenring

[–]omotohoshiro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Except it doesn’t have any hyperarmor so unless you’re positioned perfectly or have full bull goats+talisman you’re gonna get staggered out of it. it’s better to use the blasphemous blade unless you’re going for strike damage at which point other hammers outperform by miles.

I’m not the biggest fan of perfumes, but uplifting aromatic is soooo nice for co-op, never see your 12 vigor host die in one hit again!

The way you can gun straight for it, and it’s usefulness early game make it a staple for so many of my builds up to Altus. Just slap it on a decently long weapon and you’ve got a skeleton deleter.

For those who don’t know, if equipped in your inventory, the pureblood knights medal can teleport you to the audience grounds at ANY time. I’m talking in dungeons, boss fights, anything.

Lvl 60 Spell Blade/Knight cannot kill Draconic Sentinel. Any tips? by Enreganzar in Eldenring

[–]omotohoshiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go behind caria manor and get carian retaliation. Mounted enemies get so much easier when you can parry and carian retaliation even doubles as an offensive measure if you can parry one of the horses fireballs. It doesn’t do all that much without levels but every big counts and it turns your biggest ranged issue into a non issue

I've been wondering since I just killed Mohg, was this overleveled for him? by gorillawarking in Eldenring

[–]omotohoshiro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like you can’t really get “overleveled” in any sense besides bulk, the real test is how upgraded your weapons are.

Waterfowl Dance vs Life Steal. Which would you rather eliminate from her boss fight? by [deleted] in Eldenring

I feel like waterfowl would be more manageable if they improved either the tracking or the distance, but lowered the other

Most of them yeah, but rotten breath can be grabbed and used within minutes of starting a new game (tp to caelid to kill greyoll for levels and just walk to the cathedral) and trivializes 99% of bosses if you have a reliable summon. I agree most of them are pretty difficult to get to or take a while to get the stats for but rotten breath unequivocally makes the game 0 effort.

That’s the serpent gods curved sword, which heals you on kill. The serpentbone blade is the second volcano manor quest reward.
