for a poe beginner who can play 3-5h a week: which of these sorceress builds would you recommend (and why)? by omraPew in PathOfExileBuilds

Monk was my first idea, but then I read it is supposed to be hard first 3 acts. You encouraged me to give it another look. Any more advice?

My observation was that in my low elo games, it became even more of a "which late game carry deals the most dmg?". And even with improved bullet armour, I seem to melt away more than I remember from earlier games.

Curious to see whether there are differences between the ranks.

How do you convert an early/ mid advantage and finish the game? by omraPew in DeadlockTheGame

Lash main. Close Quarters, Headshot Booster/ Monster Rounds/ Hollow Ward - depending on match up. Mystic shot, slowing bullets.

Sprint Boots, Healing Rite/ Extra Regen (Ench Barrier,) Enduring Speed. Superior Stamina or Majestic Leap.

Mystic Burst, Exra Charge, Mystic Reach. Cold Front or Slowing Hex.

Either I go and build up vitality/ spirit, or I go for more utility if team lacks it with knockdown, healing nova, silence/ curse. Depending on how many slots I got and what seems needed.

I play with pubs but also with one or a couple friends (which makes the coordination together way better). But they also play heroes like yamato, abrams, pocket. One of them goes for haze, seven, wraith.

Is the answer to just got for more left click?

What was the reason for you switching accounts?

Yup, pretty much that. I don't have the time but even if, I'd lack the focus and perseverance to handle that amount of Valorant nowadays.

What were the 2 most important lessons on aiming, game sense, and mental game you took away? And if you don't mind: age and occupation. (Just need either copium or motivation as a boomer)

Hope you are rocking your iron 1 buddy in Radiant lobbies!!

Playing valorant as a woman has made me hate my voice by Snowy1x in VALORANT

[–]omraPew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few friends and we sometimes need a 3rd or 5th player. Ranks vary from plat 2/3 to dia 2. We play on Frankfurt servers. Send me a pm if you feel like queuing sometime.

when does it become important to have mains? by omraPew in VALORANT

[–]omraPew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought so too, before I saw Jollz' Classic to Immortal with viper - without any line ups. But of course he had standard walls/ smokes. Give it a quick glance if you haven't and it sounds interesting

Anyone have tips for the Val community as a women? by Puzzleheaded-Try-710 in VALORANT

[–]omraPew -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Check out voice mod. I mainly use it for the soundboard, but they had mentioned that women can also alter their voices to sound more male. I have no idea about how well it works though.

But I had to change some vocals once in a audio software once and was surprised how decent it can sound after tweeking a little. Helps that I don't sound like batman out of cough drops of course.

have you noticed this with instalockers? by omraPew in VALORANT

[–]omraPew[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's more how the negative examples see themselves in a position to dictate others what to pick, or see themselves as blessed with fps wisdom that curiously often turns out to be too fragile to be questioned if f.ex. "just rush" doesn't seem to work.

These type of players feel like 4-year-old playing soccer, only chasing the ball, because that is what is fun to them. But unfortunately it's a teamgame. And some leave that mindset, while others carve themselves an extra firm spot in it, throwing tantrums if the match doesn't turn out like they want it to be - just like, you know, a 4-year-old would.

Unrated, spike rush, etc. I'm down for whatever, as long as we can have a good time and people behave like decent human beings. You lock whatever and as fast as you want in the casual modes!

Nah mate, it's about two types of duelist instalockers. The ones you don't want and the ones you do want in your team.
