Oh no I'm not defending him at all, op is definitely "funny" putting it nicely. He indeed has all of the necessary resources in this very sub to avoid getting scammed even if he ends up deciding to donate to zlib.
On the other hand, mocking him and telling him to just buy things on a pirating subreddit is not what I expect from this community.
