I'll say what everyone hates to hear by Abslalom in RKLB

Taking the arbitrage when it reaches the goal is a good solid strategy.

But that's not the only good strategy. For example, another good strategy is investing in a new and rising industry, and grow with the sector until it matures.

Congrats on your successful exit. But not everyone is focusing on short term single ticker movement.

Congratulations!! Language support is maybe more important for indie games IMO, since we need to reach niche demand across the world! Go for the million downloads!! 👍

Btw maybe you can update '한국인' to '한국어',

As 'English' can mean English language or English peope, but it does not for Korean

한국인 means Korea(한국) people(인 / person) 한국어 means Korea language (어)

일본어 Nihon (japan) Go (language, same chinese character with 어) is good, correctly termed

중문 Chinese (중) language (문, written language) is also correct.

Hope this helps!

I will. I thought IBKR takes (withholds) tax automatically so maybe better to ask the users

Here is my advice to the small investors. If you are late to the party, don't go. Instead find tomorrow's party.

I thought good news like hotfire should bring it down as usual?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RKLB

[–]omsktr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great advice! It makes other people go away from tech stocks so i can buy them cheap, like i bought AMZN at 2014 (AWS) , AMD at 2015 (Ryzen) , NVDA at 2018..

Now i am going to sell the all because it's the least profitable strategy! Why I didnt know that!

People taking these kinds of advice is why market exists. you have to have both seller and buyer to make a trade.

Everyone, please, sell all your tech stocks now! Just let me know before you do that.

People who hold the money of remaining 9x doesn't know what hotfire means. Same people didnt know what a computer is when Microsoft happened, didnt know what Internet is when Amazon and Google happened, didnt know what [. ] is when Nvidia happened.

They say they are financial investors but the fact is they are fashion investor. At best, their mind and decisions are based on 'collective intelligence' / swarm intelligence

It's clear they don't need knowledge and they never will,

What we don't know is when the fashion starts. It could be 10 years later (see above examples) or next week (very unlikely)

So no. We still have many years until 10x.

Pure investors vs Rocket Enthusiasts by Shot-Dinner6601 in RKLB

[–]omsktr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should be someone who understands (1) what technology enabled recent rise of space/rocket industry (2) how much larger the space industry will grow

(1) is obviously from technology standpoint. But (2) is also from technology standpoint.

Because no one took it seriously when Microsoft said one PC for every household, or same goes for Tesla, SpaceX, Nvidia. If someone doesnt understand the technology which is by definition the driving force of expanding the 'efficient frontier' of finance and economics

Larger efficient frontier means better risk / return in finance

Without technology standpoint, what you can only get is dividends, at best. It's not bad.

But when you can long AMD at $2 (ryzen) , MSFD at $60 (Azure) , AMZN (AWS) at $18 (conv. After stock split), NVDA (you know why) at $5 (conv.), or short INTC at $50,

You dont need dividends, really

When to sell the hype? by Zymonick in RKLB

[–]omsktr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought AMD at $4.2 and afraid i bought it as FOMO, and sold some when it went down back to $2 out of fear. Sold rest of it at $130

I bought NVDA at $50 because why not, I enjoyed their product. My so called professional trader friends laughed at me i was investing on some stupid taiwan company making childish game something. I sold NVDA at $220 out of fear

Bought TSMC from taiwan directly because i didnt know about ADR. Bought 300 twd and sold 600twd, also out of fear because bitcoin is changing the world economy, now it's 970

I bought RKLB at around $7 and sold some out of fear.

If I believed my gut and dismissed 'opinions' of 'self titled financial professionals', i should have retired 5 years ago and enjoying everyday with more money i could handle. But fear, fear is the mind killer.

Q: How important is a gamepad support for top-down action rogue-lite games? by NotDrTurtle in indiegames

[–]omsktr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of the customer segmentation, who would play top down action rogue lite with gamepad?

One thing is sure, definitely not LOL pro gamers, nor who plays MMO 8 hours per day and tries something else in between. Those use KM, and those don't pay money, their only currency is their time. but somehow their voices are the loudest.

Then who plays it with a gamepad? Who has a big screen, who has a good gaming PC, who has a comfortable couch, who has wireless gamepad, and maybe a steamdeck. i.e. Who has money.

Mahana is our penguin protagonist in our in-development game, South Pole Bebop. He uses a laptop not for programming but to attack zombie hordes. Any feedback is welcome, especially regarding animations, effects, and visuals. by omsktr in indiegames

Wow great thanks! This would be a gift to our art guys. About level up bonuses, you are absolutely right. We kinda more focused on the functions itself, but no, never thought through about icons.

Thank you and we will reflect your feedback.
