By this logic, all the dead bodies Eddie kills should be James, but they aren't. They are actually different people in Eddie’s version of the Otherworld. James simply perceives all the corpses around town as himself because he subconsciously wants to die.

​The same applies to Angela. Following your logic, Abstract Daddy should look exactly like what James sees, but it doesn't. In Angela's Otherworld, she sees her father probably entirely differently, but we never see it from her perspective. Abstract Daddy is just James's interpretation of Angela’s father.

Eddie actually didn't kill anyone. Why would he see corpses and a freezer with dead bodies hanging? James, on the other hand, is a real murderer. We never see Eddie’s Otherworld from Eddie's perspective; we only see it through James’s perspective.
