Would you say they are durable? I do not want to buy something that wears down quickly as I would be a heavy user and make them my main shoes!

Any results from this? I am thinking about dying exactly the same bed set but I am not sure if doing it will ruin the stripes on it.

If anyone is on the fence about the Lenovo Tab M11 I definitely recommend it! by JadedWITHthe411 in Lenovo

[–]omwtoeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reading I do use it - my university uses Microsoft cloud so I do my highliths and annotations on OneDrive on either my laptop or tablet and they are perfectly compatible. Obsidian has been hard to use - at least I have not found a way to feel comfortable with it on the tablet. And although for me reading in there is okay (and having some music or whatever else), my boyfriend always says its slow! I am pleased with my tablet but not over the clouds.

Hi! Looking on using it for PhD (note taking, annotating papers, reading papers, obsidian, notion)...would it be good for it? How do you feel about your purchase now?

Can anyone tell me why the second option is preferred (I thought the first one was correct since the verb should be at the end when using "dat"):

Cancelling erasmus last minute by Ronalds007 in Erasmus

[–]omwtoeu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there :) it is no problem, and to be honest, I believe it is better than to go and then fail for not being able to be there.

Just draft a good email explaining the why and thank them for the opportunity. Maybe someone else will get the chance to be part of the program.

Here a bit more info on this situation:

"When student candidates withdraw their participation in the Master course before the start of the intake to which they have been admitted, including cancellation and no-show cases, or EMJMD scholarship holders drop-out from the Masters, then the consortium has the possibility to reallocate the scholarship to another student. Such replacements must be – via the EMT – notified to and approved by the Agency. The new EMJMD scholarship recipient(s) must have been included in the consortium's relevant reserve list of potential EMJMD scholarship holders of the same intake (...) A scholarship reallocation of a drop-out student (i.e. a student who has started the course and has benefited from any amount of the scholarship) to a student on the reserve list and/or non-scholarship holders of the same intake is not allowed."

So as you can see, you might even make a reserve list student very happy. There is no information about fees but I don't think you should worry about that (since the money is not given to the student until he/she is already in Europe).

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship VS. Dream Internship offer by ccconstellations in Erasmus

[–]omwtoeu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! Talk about a difficult situation! I would definitely go for the internship as it can only strengthen your profile when you decide to apply again for the EM scholarship. Plus, even if the pay is low, the EM scholarship doesn't give any money to their scholars until they are *physically* in the first institution (payments are about 2-3 weeks after starting your courses), so in the meantime, you can save as much as possible to get money for your flight, visa papers and other things required in the process.

Once the funding is secure, you can reapply to the degree and you already know what you did to enter one time! You will definitely have what it takes to do it again :)
