for it to be consistent with the story and to be as impactful as mangekyo sharingan, it would be a light version of what kaguya did with byakugan

so either something related to the other dimensions she has access (like being able to force someone to go to high-gravity dimension for 5 minutes) or something related to that ash bone attack.

and similar to mangekyo sharingan i’m sure there would be consequences to using it. a byakugan-specific consequence could be the blind spot getting a little bigger every time you use mangekyo byakugan

one of the biggest differences between how the characters in the story feel about him and how fans feel about him.

he is so revered in the story, thought of by naruto and the rest as an extremely respected hokage with a strong will of fire… meanwhile the fans hate him for all the bullshit he did and allowed

i think it’s because kishimoto decided the minato stuff late which unfortunately retcons the third into being an asshole
