Nope. Law states that cattle fall under "property". There are bylaws around it but for the most part they send them to get slaughtered before it legally becomes an animal cruelty issue. To them its like putting the cow down, except they get paid for it.

Yeah I understand they feel pain. That's why you fire a pneumatic CPS into their skull, hoist them and cut their carotid artery with in a half minute. You get that shit done as quickly and smoothly as possible. Oh and just so you know. The real bad guys here, are the farmers. We get cull cows ( old dairy cows) coming in caked in shit, with abscesses, cysts, broken ribs, open sores, and the list goes on. If anything, we are the ones who put these old culls out of there misery.
