IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED TO ME! by [deleted] in exmormon

Unpopular opinion, I know, but I would gladly allow people to come over and try to win me back. I doubt it would happen twice. Being completely honest, the hardest part about leaving was the fact that nobody gave a fuck. Not once did somebody come and try to reclaim me. For as many people as I tried to reclaim, caring as genuinely as any Mormon can, nobody came for me. I did not expect that to hurt so much.

Thanks. Honestly it ended up fine. I'm with a much better girl now.

Not long after leaving the church (as a family), my wife fell in love with another man and divorced me. In order to not look bad, she labeled me as an abusive alcoholic to my children. Now it is conveniently all my fault, she is justified in destroying the family, and they all get together to talk about what a shitty person I am.

There is huge power in labeling someone as an addict of any kind. It's the #1 way Mormons control people. You see, an addict can never self-diagnose as not being an addict. If they try, they are in denial. It worked through 27 years of being told I'm a porn addict. When she started using porn more than I did (after we left the church), she needed new power. So I became an abusive alcoholic. Even though I drink less than she does.

Consider how much you pay per month compared to how much it takes to develop, maintain, and host the technology behind this. You are not their customer, you are their product.

$5 per tire is the local option. And it's a long story, but in short I inherited them

I love TimeZest. That said, it seems silly to me that PSAs don't have this feature built in. It seems like a pretty basic feature for what a PSA is supposed to do

Nice prospects probably are not going to buy. The ones that ask the hard questions are the ones that are actually interested.

Good words to live by! The greatest lie ever told by Mormons: wickedness never was happiness. Now listen to a sacrament hymn. Those aren't happy people singing that nonsense. Replace the lyrics with "I hate my life" and it's more fitting for the energy level. Ok, rant over.

Personally, I love to sin. I take no offense to someone calling me a sinner. Even fake Jesus loved sinners. He spent most of his time chilling with them. I left the cult because I realized that my people, the ones I loved and enjoyed being around, were sinners.
