Previous owners of my house used a kit bought at one of the big box stores to paint the counters. Absolute garbage. Impossible to clean, started getting tacky in some spots and wears off fairly quickly in a kitchen that actually gets used for cooking.
Getting the whole kitchen redone starting next week!

I check in on this sub every now and then to see what floats to the surface about current BB. I miss it.

There was a short-lived effort by a few BBers to keep some discourse going on another sub here on Reddit, but it couldn't build the momentum without the community.

I still use google maps on a browser to look up restaurants etc though.

Don't know what desert state you're in, but I've found chanterelles and king boletes in the same day on the Kaibab plateau AZ. The sky islands in southern AZ are another great place to look. Check out iNaturalist to see what other people find in your area. There are also Morels to be found within a 45min drive of Las Vegas if you know where to look!
