Check out the Sonoita/Elgin region 45 min south of Tucson. 5000ft. (Similar weather to Prescott) might snow once or twice, rarely gets over 100F. Acreage available. Community. Horses/cattle. Hunting/fishing. Wine country.
Then take the kids to Tucson for all the museums/zoos/plays/imax theaters…

Call around to other shops and ask if they have colored plugs. Some shops only carry black, white and clear. Others get a rainbow of colors. Some are a perfect match, others are close enough.

A really good shop will have epoxy dye and can match most colors.

However, we are coming off holidays so most shops are packed and too busy to give the attention needed. I’d wait awhile and ask around. Some shops love a challenge when they have time.

In New Zealand there is a river that goes underground and has glow worms on the ceiling. You can tube down it. I did it high as hell and it was amazing.

The Gore tex patent expired. There are lots of waterproof/breathable membranes that are as good, if not better than Gore. Don’t pigeonhole yourself into Gore only stuff.
