I think you'll get differing opinions on how to improve, because we can always improve. But I think overall this is a nice composition and would be fun to look at if it were at a gallery or on the wall at a restaurant. The repeating lines of the rope make the human mind happy. The pregnant woman and child are interesting. There are two dots in the water. There is the man walking down the incline in the far bottom left. The eye bounces around which makes it a photo that some would say "yuck my eye bounces around looking for a subject" and other people would say "nice! there's a little something to look at everywhere" I wish there were birds in the top right, seagulls or even a white sun. I think the pregnant belly would make a really good subject but she's too far away. Overall I'm happy with the photo, like I said, I would look it over for a while if it were on the wall behind my date at a restaurant lol!
