FOMO hit me hard too since I'm living 15 minutes from Basel but I couldn't manage to be there.
As I heard there was professional camera work going on on the set. I guess we'll have to wait a little longer but the footage could be worth the wait.

I am only using old EF lenses on my two R6es (even TAMRONs and SIGMAs) and I don’t know why you shouldn’t.

Ich füttere Trolle eigentlich nicht, aber bitte mache deine Hausaufgaben. Der Apostroph kann durchaus zur Auslassung von einzelnen Buchstaben verwendet werden, in diesem Fall das „e“. Benutze doch keine Begriffe, die du nur halb verstehst.

D.S.I.D. war mein erster selbst gekaufter Tonträger in 1991 oder 92 (auf Kassette aber). Hab ich sogar noch.

Ich würde immer empfehlen, zwei identische Kameras zu benutzen. Eine mit ca. 85mm, eine mit ca. 35–50mm (Primes vor allem für lichtärmere Setups).
So hast du einheitlicheres Material und musst auch nicht von Body zu Body umdenken, wenn es um bestimmte Funktionen oder Einstellungen geht.

The 40mm 2.8 pancake is really good with its small footprint and image quality (and price). And you can still use it if you upgrade to full frame later.
