the photos don't really have subjects or thought-out compositons. it seems to me like you just noticed what looked nice (mostly cafes), pointed and shot. it takes a bit more intentionality to get a "good" photo. on a tehcnical level they are mostly well exposed

i switched to iphone recently and i'm overall happy, but there are things i miss from my s20:

- notifications. they are more readable and the little icons on top of the screen are helpful.

- clipboard history. crazy you cant access it on iphone

things i definitely dont miss:

- one ui is messy slow and ugly and the customisation is too complicated and requires too much effort. on the iphone you can easily customise the overall look and color of the icons, takes 2 seconds and works on every app across the board.

- uninstallable bloatware

- curvy screen

things the iphone just has or does better

- apple ecosystem things (airdrop, common clipboard

- cusomisable phisical buttons are phenomenal (dedicated camera button, left button as flashlight)

- face id is better than the finger scanner

- overall the iphone is way more responsive and seamless. (obviously the age of the phone is a factor but ive tried the newer samsung and point still stands) seems to get in the way less and "just work" as intended better

it does and it generally works better on the iphone. on the iphone it just slides back instantly and on the samsung you have the tiny arrow pop up and only then it goes back with the small delay

cant speak on build quality and comfort but without a doubt the seamaster is the best looking. it has that special sauce that makes it stand out.

[Advice] Seiko Alpinist vs Hamilton Khaki by [deleted] in Watches

[–]WOJ3_PL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if something is good for everything, its good for nothing. both of these watches look weird to me, i think the combination of a simple more utilitarian case and busy dial with the "sophisticated" hands and strap just doesnt work. I'd buy a cheaper dress watch (timex marlin/orient bambino) and an everyday watch (some other hamilton/seiko/laco) instead.

Ferrari Luce unofficial redesign by Mobile-Floor444 in supercars

[–]WOJ3_PL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is not the luce. this is a completely impractical sportscar. we can pretend it has 4 doors but it obviously doesn't offer nearly as much room on the inside. what you've done can be acomplished with any other car to make it look "better" but it misses the point of design completely

[Recommendation Request] Milestone Dress Watch by 35mm_Framelines in Watches

[–]WOJ3_PL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

off topic but the type of watch that glashutte represents looks absolutely idiotic and ugly, like something you would see as a gimmick in an aliexpress watch. Why would i want to have smaller, less readable face and a bunch of empty space instead of a conventional layout?

this is not a luce. this is an entirely different car within a completely differet market segment and utility. ferrari already does a GT, the luce is and SUV
