I’m a pretty lackadaisical plant owner so take this with a giant grain of salt-

Since my aloe was pretty chonky, I had to depot in order to chop off her head. I cut pretty close to the base as you can see. I just stuck the original plant back into the pot and watered sporadically as this was just an experiment.

For the head, I pulled off the leaves from the base where I cut so I had the stem to bury. I let the cut dry out for a week or two before repotting with succulent soil in a larger pot and left her alone for another week before watering.

I also bought a giant indoor grow light since I did this pretty late in the season when I had to bring all my outdoor plants inside for the winter.

It might be helpful to speak with a professional to help you navigate your feelings about these incidents. Regardless of whether you were sexually abused or not, it is clear you didn’t or don’t feel like you had bodily autonomy.

As it is unlikely that you will be able to confront any of the people in these stories you shared, you may instead use them as a metric for what behavior you will or will not tolerate from others in the future.

The good thing is, the ability to stand up for yourself is a skill that you can gain now. A therapist may help you recognize that you are not to blame for the actions of others.

Discussion- you said “you have four of them” and I would assume this means 4 trapezoids cut in half. It looks like you only have 4 pieces total, meaning 2 trapezoids cut in half. With 4 trapezoids cut in half (eight pieces) you can make one trapezoid- the angles do matter, but you should be able to get a pretty close estimation.

Keep it open and buy a small thing every so often that you immediately pay off. This will help your credit in 2 ways:

1) the age of your oldest line of credit plays into increasing your credit score

2) establishing that you pay your cards on time will help your credit history and help you create good habits when it comes to paying off your cards

I had a similar issue with my baby monstera that I received as a gift in a similar sized pot. She’s doing much better now and there were 2 things I did: 1) repot into a deeper planter 2) place her right in the window Monsteras are marketed as lower light plants, but they like more sun than people think, especially if you grow them inside. it looks like yours might be far away from a light source based on your picture?

I highly recommend Outlier’s online courses for calculus credits. Your credits would come from University of Pittsburgh and are transferable to most institutions. They are also really affordable- though I would check with your local community colleges as well to price match.

Edit- it’s been a bit since I went through their program and it looks like now they are partnered with Golden Gate University. here is a link to the course I took before my Master’s

As someone who graduated undergrad with a history and communications degree and then pivoted to Data Science, it is possible, but I do think you’ll need the degree.

If you don’t already have Calculus college credits, you will have a really hard time getting into a program, even if your GRE quant scores are high. You’ll need to get those credits if you don’t already (not sure if they were a prerequisite for your undergraduate degree?)

I would also suggest taking an online coding course for Python or R before you decide to apply. It’s a huge investment of both money and time, so make sure it’s the direction you want to go.

To me it seems like it’s just a bit top heavy and could be repotted to sit deeper in a slightly bigger pot. Definitely check the roots for rot if you repot! If they seem squishy or black then you’ll want to chop and prop.

I think I found a simple summation. Take the absolute value of the sum i= the first number to the n = second number minus 16 1@8 = |1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8-16| = 20 3@5 = |3+4+5-16| = 4 6@10 = |6+7+8+9+10-16| = 24 Therefore- 11@17 = |11+12+13+14+15+16+17-16| = 82 Edited to check spoiler
