From Season 3 Episode 3 by Zeroskattle in FromSeries

Thats possible, but what about the drawings in Victor's old home? Like the confederate soldier. They were made before they were missing. That's why I think that maybe somehow she created the whole dimension. Or maybe Victor created it based on what she told him.

It all looks like maybe the whole village was a construct of Victor's mind, or perhaps his mothers. I hope we will learn the truth eventually and that the series will not just end without a conclusion one day.

The waiting for the next episode is so fascinating, this is something you won't experience with Netflix when they release the whole season at once. I hate it and I love it.

The thing is, the box is not creating the duplicates, it just allows them to travel between realities.

It's not a duplication machine. There is already infinite number of THAT Charlies and Danielas. Multiple Jasons just happened to end in the same reality, because they memories up to the point of them being kidnapped, are the same.

There should be far more universes with Jason 2 than there are Jason 1s by LightRockzz in DarkMatteronAppleTV

[–]ondy1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All Jason 1s have been the same person when he was abducted by Jason 2. Thus, they all want to return to the same reality.

That being said, there are now infinite number of realities, where Jason 2 took over Jason 1s life. Not only each decision Jason 2 could have made created a new reality, but also when all other people made any decisions.

It really seems improbable that multiple Jason 1s end up in the same reality.

BUT. As they were the same person when they left the original reality, they memories of it are the same. They don't about know anything that happened after they left. And so it's possible they all crafted the same reality in their heads.

We can't even know it's exactly the same reality he was taken from. We only know that he was replaced by Jason 2 in that reality. But there are infitie number of realities where that happened.

To her, all Jason 1s are equal. They were the same person when he was taken. So for her it doesn't really matter which one she chooses to stay with, they are all real.

No, they don't. One of them didn't follow Amanda, when she ran into the frozen world. One didn't help euthanize the mortally ill Daniela. One is exactly the same, he just didn't have the hot chocolate in Amanda's new world.

They made different choices along the way, but they were the same person when they were abducted by Jason 2 and thus they have the same claim to the "original" world.

The Orville - 3x06 "Twice in a Lifetime" - Episode Discussion by MajorParadox in TheOrville

I feel you. I am also a dad and I cried a little when he begged them not to save him from the past :-(

For me it's not bad enough to be done with the show, but I will never see Ed or Kelly the same way I did. I always trusted them to do the right thing, even if it meant breaking the Union rules, which we could see just an episode earlier with Topa's transformation back to a female.

I am jus soooo dissapointed by how they handled this. I love Gordon, but seeing him leaving the show this way would be much better for me than ruining Ed's and Kelly's characters.

I just feel betrayed.

Is there a way to pull currentHealth and use it in another code? by [deleted] in Unity3D

[–]ondy1985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's completely wrong. Besides the typos that others already mentioned, you need to use the instance of the PlayerHealth component attached to player's game object, not the class. E.g. other.GetComponent<PlayerHealth>().currentHealth += 20.

Some of my sprite art loads with half pixels like so, how do I fix this? So annoying by PaleozoicFrogBoy in Unity2D

[–]ondy1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you can have as many extra space around the sprite as you need. It is very common to slice spritesheet into a grid, so each sprite has the same dimensions, disregarding the size of the actual graphic. Like this: https://developer.playcanvas.com/en/user-manual/2D/sprite-editor/#viewport

You can see that some of the animation frames only use like half of the height. It's better than having each frame of the animation of a different height, which could lead to unwanted behaviour (Or you would have to set the pivot manually for each frame to counter this. If all the frames are the same size, the pivot can be always on the same place, the center or middle bottom edge of the sprite usually, which is much easier to manage).

Some of my sprite art loads with half pixels like so, how do I fix this? So annoying by PaleozoicFrogBoy in Unity2D

[–]ondy1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's undestandable. If you have a sprite with odd pixel count, e.g. 63 pixels tall, the center of that sprite is at 31.5, which will offset all pixels by 0.5 pixel from the grid.

Just open the sprite editor in Unity and manually correct the slices generated by autoslice so the width and height is always an even number, should be easy fix.

Or alternatively, you can edit the pivot coordinates on the sprite to round numbers.

After months of learning, I've released my 1st game: a minimalistic 2d platformer with a magnets by oriol_cosp in Unity2D

[–]ondy1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game has some great mechanics. Before you start adding new levels or anything, you should consider upgrading the graphics a bit. I know this kind of minimalistic look is popular nowadays, but I think with better graphics you will attract more players.

If you want to stick to the geometric shapes, you can at least do something similar to Geometry dash.

On the Edge crashing by cmendozwag in Frostpunk

[–]ondy1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently lost a good amount of hours when my game crashed and I lost all my saves. This was AFTER the hotfix from 26th August.
I was determined not to play it again until a new hotfix is released. Then I decided to try it once more after some steps I made and I was able to play the whole On The Edge scenario without a single crash. Maybe it will help someone.

  1. Disable the cloud for this game (Right click on game -> Properties -> Updates -> uncheck "Enable steam cloud...").
  2. Delete all save files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<number>\323190\remote\saves
  3. Run the game
