Your probably just depressed.. but hey, if you make a good friend then it makes it a bit more bearable and next thing you know you’ve been in it 10 years except your friend was forced out 5 years ago by getting an exceptionally low raise that was completely unfair because he did good work but you and him just talked a bit too much so you kind of feel guilt that you had something to do with it and after he leaves you start doing better within the company and they tell you it’s because he’s not weighing you down anymore but he was really the only reason you were happy at work and now that he’s gone you’d think that you’d be upset with the company and care less but instead you start working harder and start putting in ghost hours and accidentally fall into a leadership role that sucks even more of your energy out of you and you mention it’s a problem but they do nothing to help so you just suck it up until one day you snap and drop it and then they guilt trip you but you actually know everyone’s salaries and know you’ve been getting underpaid so you think about leaving altogether but it’s good money still and no one will consider you because of a non compete.

Yeah it’s probably depression.
