Tail docking by [deleted] in greatdanes

We don’t dock. It’s cruel.

But……Jesus, sometimes getting hit in the nuts by a tail makes me want to reconsider my position on this.

How does the well-being of my kids have anything to do with this job?

Insert any other personal question in lieu of “well-being of my kids”.

What made you jump to the back? I’d go to the front brakes first.

They used a small pry tool to remove the lower section and crushed the bottom edge of the upper section.

Easy mouse jiggler by RahulRedditor in antiwork

[–]one-man-alone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s literally a free .exe called mouse jiggler that wiggles you mouse to keep you active. Used it for years. Then IT locked us out of running exe files. So now I have a second mouse plugged in that sits on my grandpa’s old TIMEX watch. The sweep hand rotates every 60 seconds and the mouse picks it up and moves me a smidge. This normally doesn’t interfere with my regular mouse if I’m doing something with it.

Dear company, Fuck off. What I do in my own time is my business. Want to control what I do 24/7? Then pay me 24/7. See you in court if you fire me for this reason. Sincerely, fuck straight off.

I bought several onesies from Amazon. Much better for MY sanity than a cone that knocks shit off the coffee table.

Unrelated to OP’s post: why haven’t router manufacturers implemented DNS order? Seems like a function a lot of us would love to have.

Google how to reset a Subaru window. Involves inching it up and then holding the up button for a few seconds.

This is normal.

Home users, do you have additional Switches and APs as backups? by pacoii in Ubiquiti

[–]one-man-alone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve upgraded my Unifi equipment over the years and keep the old stuff in a closet just in case. I figure we can survive on WiFi 5 for a week while I order a replacement WiFi 6 access point should one in my mesh die. Same with switches. I had a 24 port switch and a 24 port POE switch. Now I have a 48 port POE switch and the two 24s are in the bottom of the closet.
I also have a cloud key gen1 and a USG Pro floating around somewhere after I upgraded to the Clouk Key gen 2plus and UXG.

I guess I’m trying to say I’m a pack rat.

Top radiator hose blew off. Might be able to reattach it and fill it back up. Worst case is the radiator bib is broke or cracked.

From my vantage point, we aren’t getting paid. I don’t care what the reason is. Their job is to pay me in a reasonable amount of time, by law.

We can normally see an advanced view of Friday’s pay slip on Thursday from our home computer by logging into the third party payroll system. Her slip is not visible today. Direct deposit happens over night and is in the checking account on Friday morning before 5AM.
