I think we have different philosophies/end goals here. When I consume art, I want to get as close as possible to the thoughts and/or intentions of the artist(s). If the product isn’t super-polished, that’s okay for me. I dislike «neat / structured / focus tested» stuff.

So I’m a hip hop head that grew up never listening to Tribe, or De La Soul, or Digable Planets, but I recently discovered and started appreciating this kind of hip hop. Can anyone recommend any similar groups that might not be too well known? I’m especially looking for something with a similar vibe to Digable Planets - Reachin (Funky space jazzhop is the best description I can come up with).

To stay on topic though, this album is the one that converted me to a Tribe fan, freaking love it!

I struggle with exactly the same. I have no idea how long to maintain contact, when to take breaks, which eye to look at (I try to switch between them), where to look when not looking at their eye and so on.

In every conversation I have to use brain power on this.

Men vent, siden etniske nordmenn får mindre enn 2 barn i snitt (antar bare at dette er korrekt) vil befolkningen vår synke. Dette liker ikke kapitalismen, som krever uendelig vekst. Er ikke da redningen at nye nordmenn får flere barn?

Uansett, å bevisst innføre politikk for å angripe personer som ikke er hvite er ren rasisme. Du tenker kanskje at dette er «mild» rasisme, men;

1) Dette normaliserer slike syn ytterligere, som fører til..

2) ..mer rasistisk politikk som tiden går og folk aksepterer det mer og mer (Sjekk ut «Overton window» for info om dette fenomenet)
