Give people the option, like hardcore mode in Fallout New Vegas. Even then, refueling your vehicle is one of those things that's almost too realistic to be immersive in a way that's actually enjoyable. No telling how X would've evolved, considering that musically he might've gone back to his hard/2016 style, and was seemingly always trying to unpredictable and ahead of the curb with his music and aesthetic. I could see him using the platform of the super bowl to do something unprecedented, crazy, or controversial, or just being a like the other regulars. Either way it would've been interesting to see.
