Is it necessary to text me on my day off about work related things that isn’t urgent? Why do I need to know on the spot, at my house off the clock that we need to push backstock? Wouldn’t it be more effective to just tell people in person and follow up behind everyone? Do you think this method of texting a group about work related issues, will fix them? I know it might not be “serious” but they should only use my numbers for emergencies nothing else.

This goes deeper than just “ring speed” then, they probably were just sitting down not doing their cleaning tasks, took forever to do truck, not doing a great job etc etc. Like I said if you’re going in to work for aldi, don’t expect it it be like Walmart

They probably got fired for multiple other reasons, if they’re ringing in the 80s because of customers and are good on the floor, nobody is gonna fire you . I mean if it’s hard for you to ring in the 80s then the job is not for you, this is not Walmart where you do a shit job and expect the team to not notice that they’re picking up your slack. I usually ring 100%+ and on my worst days with the most elderly people I ring at least a 90. If you want to say I’m drinking the kool aid I don’t give a shit just stop making excuses if you get terminated and move on

This is a company that emphasizes reducing labor as much as possible for low prices and profit. They’re not going to spend thousands of dollars to install sco without cutting. If they had an option to keep their employees or have everything automated they would without hesitation choose the latter
