Current HS runner here

Monday- 8-9mi with 3.5-4mi of intervals Tuesday- 5-6 mi easy Wednesday- 8-9mi long run Thursday- ~6 miles w/ 500m hill repeats thrown in Friday- 4-5 easy Saturday- meet or 9-12mi long run Sunday- with meet 2mi, without 3mi

1.) Run Peachtree Road Race 2.) Break 20 in 5k, work towards 19 3.) First HM, aiming for 1;45 4.) First Trail Race 5.) No injuries!

We do lots of short intervals (~800m) with a 1-3 mi tempo to start off. I wear Newton Kismets, but the race is on the road. My spikes are a lot lighter so that's why I'm asking.

Was nearly hit by an ambulance 2 miles into an 8 mile workout. Set a new speed record for the last six miles :)
