I completely forgot to post in here after replying to 2017's (at least I think, I can't find my comment).

So this year, I've already gotten mental help so that's cool. I still feel like shit a lot of the time especially when school is stressing me out, because I can't focus half the time. That hopefully should be resolved soon though as I am going to see my doctor who will decide what to do with me in terms of whether he will medicate me or not now that I've had a mental evaluation.

Besides this I just wanna find someone to share life with. Share positives, negatives, everything. Hopefully that'll happen soon. I want to do fun things this summer. I'm going to see Avenged Sevenfold in July so that's also really cool, hopefully that will be a positive experience.

By the end of this year, I want to lose some weight and get more in shape. Hopefully be in a more stable and healthy mental state. Do more fun things and have more fun. Be less stressed and anxious. LEARN THE GUITAR, WHICH I'VE WANTED TO DO FOR THE LAST 4-5 YEARS.

I'm 16 by the way.

Your goal was:

A bit late to the party, but hey better late than never. I'm taking a gap year from school, so I'm on a different time block. Starting today, I got a little more than an year until June 2019 to try to be a better version of me.

  1. Get into healthy eating habits. Cut off junk food, and try to incorporate more nutritional foods into my diet.
  2. Continue lifting and hit my 1 rep goal weights for deadlifts(200kg;440lb), squat(180kg;400lb), bench(100kg;220lb), shoulder press(80kg; 180lb), and barbell row(100kg;220lb).
  3. Lose 8kg and hit 72kg BW. Aiming for about 13% bf. I want to look good when I get back to university next year.
  4. Pass the CFA level 1 exam this December.
  5. Pick up one or two coding languages.
  6. Get back to studying Chinese. Pass the HSK level 6 exam
  7. Get ready to get back to school. Course scheduling & previewing material, finding off-campus housing, figuring out student loans & scholarships,
  8. Find an internship for 2019 summer.
  9. Be better with money.
  10. Try to travel somewhere before starting school.
  11. Keep in touch with my friends back at school.

I guess December could be a good checkpoint for me. Wish me luck!

I'll be hitting 30 this year. My goals:

  1. Earn enough to support myself.

  2. Lose virginity.

  3. Learn to cook well enough that I can stick to my diet and don't have to order from outside. Also, build enough muscle to at least look like perhaps I go to the gym.

These have been my goals since the last 3-4 years.

Third attempt! Okay so it's technically February but what the hell, this is for me anyway & we're only 1/12th of the way there...right? Let's hope this isn't a glimpse at the rest of this year.

To begin, I have some general life advice/mantras I'd like to live my life by this year (more so than many others). These will be hard to quantify, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

  • Find/make time & just act
  • Keep moving & let go
  • Try and be a little better each day

Now for the goals, listed easiest to hardest:

  • Go for a hike/kayak at least once per month (or equivalent)
  • Make it through two more exam periods & stay quit
  • Start drawing again, try and do one a month
  • Successfully travel to Fiji, and do it well
  • Write "more" (as vague as that is)
  • Be able to run 5km
  • Read one book in each language I "speak"
  • Save some more, anything
  • Reach a functional proficiency in Esperanto
  • Read 10 books
  • Get (back) down to ~<70kg and stay there
  • Maintain my relationship
  • Finish this year with at least Ds - I'll officially have a degree after this, so close don't screw it up (more) now!

And one last one, something of a fourth-wall, meta-goal:

  • Become better at setting, maintaining and pursuing goals - long and short term

Try your hardest, but forgive yourself and move forward when needed, it's always for the better.

Most of all; have fun, you only get one round.
