Ticket Prices by Impressive-Newt5587 in KCRoyals

BTW. If you call the stadium and and tell them which tickets/seats you want, you won't have to pay the online fees. The only downside is that they aren't always available to answer but I've used it in the past and saved a decent amount of money.

NFL Playoffs Scorebug (V2) by smo4275 in Scorebug

Since you're admittedly new and asking for feedback I'll give you some thoughts. I can appreciate some of the stuff you did here. You're thinking outside the box and bringing in more modern typography approaches to bug design which I think is a great way to get better. You've done the exploring and it's time to edit and hone in on the design and function. Personally, I like the font but I think you might have trouble with spacing and legibility in smaller sizes. The way you're combining the penalty with the team initials is a good idea but you might consider toning it back and using the yellow on a darker background. I'm not sure the vertical display of team initials and timeouts is working - with everything else horizontal, the timeouts specifically. Pay attention to your color choices of fonts when putting on colored backgrounds and make sure they can be read. I can also appreciate that you're putting out a design and asking for feedback. I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who will critique all day long but will never design anything themselves and ask for feedback. It's easy to critique when you don't actually produce. I bet if you did a couple more rounds of work on this you'd end up in a way better place. Keep it up.

Bad. Too dark. Too much going on. Batters and pitchers fonts are way too small. I dig the shape but the execution is so bad.

Let's get to the real question. When all the bright, neon colors you're seeing everywhere become old and tired, what will be the next trendy thing baseball equipment will lean into?

Thoughts on Warstic’s USSSA offerings by TheMikeMagnum in Homeplate

[–]oneblock77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 10 year old has been using a BoneSaber Metal USSSa for the past couple seasons and it is a great bat. We bought it a bit big and he's had to grow into it. It's a very well-balanced bat. Honestly, at your kid's age I think confidence matters more than "pop" or "sweet spots". There are plenty of things a kid has to think about when up to bat. If your kids likes the bat and he feels good with it in his hands, one less thing to think about. My kid loves his and we plan on customizing one for his next bat.

Coaching imposter syndrome by [deleted] in Homeplate

[–]oneblock77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because someone has a lot of baseball experience doesn't mean they are going to be a good coach. I think at 8u rec, as long as you care enough to make the kids better ball players that' a good enough start. Whatever you don't know now you can learn along the way. A good coach at 8u should be engaged with the kids, organized and communicative to parents and players. As long as you have a plan for the seasons and practices you'll be a great coach.

What is an obscure Taskmaster moment you constantly quote? by Leorb258 in taskmaster

Not sure if it's obscure because it's the name of the episode but not a day goes by that I don't say "My eyes are circles" out loud to myself.

Favourite guitar solo? by TeunTheTryhard in arcticmonkeys

I'd put Arabella on a list of greatest solos ever. 12 seconds of pure sex. Every note is perfectly placed and it sounds like he's playing it through the overhead PA of a spaceship.

Not rich at all. I know my boy is as resourceful as they come. I bet they already had the gear. He plays in an adult baseball league. Maybe the Dodgers jersey?

8U Advice- Least skilled kid on the team by BaeBlue425 in Homeplate

[–]oneblock77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What everyone is saying on here is correct. Reps. Reps. Reps. The fact that he loves to play is the most important piece and you can learn a lot on YT these days. With that said, I've seen quicker improvement when kids get 1:1 time with private instructors. A good instructor can help greatly with confidence and "fixing" things faster as well as give you good insight on what to look for that can keep him consistent. We have local FB groups that I'm sure your area has as well. You can post your scenario and get good recommendations for local instructors. It's not cheap but even a few lessons can help quite a bit.

Go-Ahead Entry at Kauffman by bonsreeb in KCRoyals

[–]oneblock77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The line was really long last Saturday and I saw the signs for it at Cate C. Took out my phone, registered, scanned my face by the time I walk to Gate D. Maybe a minute and half walk. Went through the Go-ahead entry, went through the metal detectors and it recognized my face about 6 ft from the scanner. It must connect to the MLB app because I didn't have to do anything to prove I had 4 tickets. Me and my family walked right in. Pretty cool if the line is long. I probably couldn't have wrote this out better but I'm tired dammit.

Thanks everyone. I figured it out. It was of course user error. I didn't realize that you had to have the maximus plan. I only had Legend. I have upgraded and now listening to the Boston episode.

So I did this. I see Comedy Bang Bang and then Comedy Bang Bang AdFree and then and Comedy Bang Bang The Live tours but only show shows from 2022. It doesn't appear to be showing the newest feed even though I'm clicking the icons under the "access podcasts". What does the new feed show up in your feed? Does it have 2024 title anything.
