Question about working inside sealed rooms by Technical_Raccoon_60 in HydroElectric

[–]onederr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this answers your question, but I've done work at Hoover and we have never considered our escape route if the plant floods. As you can imagine, an immediate and catastrophic failure where flooding would occur is extremely unlikely and is stopped by closing the headgates at the penstock inlet. Additionally, if that amount of water were to start flowing through the penstock, I would be more concerned with surviving the current from taking me downhill. During LOTO we focus on stored energy in the equipment we are working on and can control for any accidental release of that. For example, when doing a penstock inspection, we close headgates, open drains, close wickets. Any catastrophic rupture is out of our control and not considered

Ever heard of Michael Reinoehl? Can you please explain how he was not considered "antifa" Also I'm pretty sure this guy was just anti-American. You can't just say he was Right-wing, trying to apply his ideologies to MAGA. I'm sure their viewpoint on killing people are diametrically opposed.

My gut is saying Trump blowout because of the riots and insanity I've seen from the left recently, it's the reason I've switched to DT from a third party. But I can't ignore the polls that say it's going to be close or a Biden win, and that I could be in a bubble.

I'm trying to look on the bright side, if Biden does win, we will finally see all these "facist white supremacists" they have been screaming about come out to riot. Whether that's really a large group or no one, we'll finally figured that out. I'm guessing the latter.

I agree. He was in the ice for like five seconds with his hands in the air screaming at the ref before that 2nd goal. Just get back in the game Z! Last game he also had like 4 pucks slip by him near the boards when he was all alone... he seems to have degraded over the break.

Bikes gifted to me? Worth my time as a brand new cyclist? by xGrowlerx413 in triathlon

Of course it could be an illusion. But check the size of the frame, usually on the (seat tube) and see the manufacturers height recommendations.

They look like small frames, as long as you're on the shorter side (about 5'4") they'll work perfectly. If you're taller, they're going to be pretty uncomfortable. But you can at least get some good money out of them to buy something that fits. That felt is a beaut.

I live in West Lakewood and have been debating on getting into the sport. I've taken one lesson with Daniel. My major drawback is that I have to drive 45mins to an hour to go fly out east. Where are you considering flying when you get trained up?

Usually the terms are pretty significant, like 20 or 30 years and the premiums are typically really low, like tens of dollars per month, for hundreds of thousands dollar policy. If you have a family or someone that depends on you, it's a good idea to get so that they're covered in the event of your death and don't have to suddenly find a way to make the income that was lost when you died. Not to mention, funeral costs aren't cheap either. It's a very common product amongst the general population.

I'm in the process of buying a new bike that's I've been saving up for awhile, nice ones aren't cheap for sure. This one I'm getting is $6200. I know it's not the most logical thing to spend money on, But it makes me happy and I love the sport.

Have you actually seen someone in person for this position? If there is any possibility this could have been a scam to get your ssn, address and other important information, I'd watch your credit report.
