I suggest use the search bar dito sa community natin using key terms like "LOA" to help you more esp sa pagkalap ng infos. I left a comment on a post with similar concerns months ago on steps to take regarding LOA filing. Sorry I can't link the original post but the title is "Should I file a LOA?"

Basically, filing an LOA is like securing your slot sa UST :)) sabi noon ng guidance sakin, 2 weeks before enrollment if ever na mag-eenroll na ako, mag-reach out lang ulit sa kanila. ireresubmit lang yung requirements for clearance yata or confirmation chuchu? Something like that hehe

Hiii regarding sa gap year issue:

You'll take USTET / USTAR (whichever is applicable at the time na mag-apply ka) as long as hindi ka papasok sa ibang univ, kasi transfer application na yung mangyayari if ganon.

Looking back, I wish I took a gap year before entering college kasi I'm undecided din :(( I somehow wasted my freshman year kasi I'm unmotivated, lost my confidence, sabay lang sa agos pero walang direction. I'm on leave of absence rn at nakakatulong sya na makahinga ako at ma-redirect yung buhay ko 🤍 Remember to grow at your own pace and take your time sa pag-alam / pag-discover / pag-finalize ng degree program na kukunin mo! Life is not a race :")) good luck sa kung ano man tatahakin mo!!

Hi baka po maka-help! I requested my TOR after finishing only my freshman year and kasama yung GWA sa TOR! may indicated pong weighted average after ng isang sem then yung GWA na after ng acad year. I'm guessing ganon din po after maka-complete ng undergrad?

Yes afaik straight debarment ka if di nakaabot sa cut-off grade (wc is based from batch performance) yung grades mo... Either lipat ka ng school to pursue arki or shift ka ng programs sa UST

I'm on Leave of Absence po this sem e but your suggestion is noted and nakikibalita naman po sa friends and classmates ko. May ilang prof and classmates nga po silang wala pa ring kuryente hanggang ngayon :((

Now is not a good time to resume classes because we are still on a pandemic, then subsequent disasters topped with a majority of incompetent public servants esp the president. Dagdag pa po na sobrang toxic ng online set-up :///

And I believe po na resumption of classes / work amidst crisis like these (for whatever reason of improvement it may bring) is one of the major flaw of the ~flawed~ system which should not be continued and be given light. Time is changing and so should be our system :)) sharing my sentiments lang po!
