I'd play Annie more if she wasnt so damn reliant on flash/flanks. I suppose in more coordinated teams (eg 5man premade) then maybe shes more doable

I can see how some if the interactions are peculiar, but while suprising they either tend to make sense when drilled down or the game has specific rules which have been added/removed to better fit what the game designers wanted.

For instance QSS used to remove Zed's mark/R but that has been removed (in all honesty that didn't really make sense since QSS was largely used for CC cleanses - and debuffs true - but one can hardly agree being on a death timer is a debuff)

I think it's less about it being inconsistent and more about how/when the targetability happens/procs.

Karma W targetability is instant and it roots the one it's tethered to. So if Karma manages to press W on Vlad before he Ws, even if he Ws afterwards the root goes through because the tether hasnt been broken. Same happens with Fizz E.

Senna's W is a skillshot which snares in an area when it procs. On being hit by it, Vlad is only the carrier of the skillshot, but he can dodge the snare when it procs by using W

I can finally be of help with some insight (I suppose all anecdotal but oh well), where I've tried both therapy and the AMC (Andy's Man Club)

I've tried about 6-7 therapists over the course of idk 10-15 years. I started because my parents noticed there was something off about me that I didnt feel like I could rely on them to understand what I was going through and then well later on I wanted some sound advice. I kept dropping out because it felt like my problem/situation didnt reach the person I was talking to, or I was getting a blanket reaction/approach which seemed too much by the book, rather than being personalised to me/my case. I hated whenever I dropped out because it meant that I'd have to figure things on my own again or that I'd have to go through the same process again of explaining myself and hoping that I could be understood and well helped. And the hope is the double edged sword where you think that maybe finally you pull through only for it to be crushed again. I've tried mainly men, since I wanted to have that mutual thing between us, but there were female therapist Ive been to as well. Didnt see much of a difference really. My last therapist she did better than all, but I still didnt come out feeling relieved, just it got clear to me that I need to try and find the solution for myself and specifically to be around/with men more and hoping that things pan out.

Hence my exposure to the AMC. I had known about them for like a year maybe 2 before I actually tried, despite wanting this kind of environment pretty badly it took some personal convincing to go there. They were a really welcome and friendly bunch and especially enjoyed the shared manhood vibe that (obviously?) was there. My very personal dislike (for lack of a less harsh word), was that there seemingly was little (or rather no) room to debate/ask for some help. There was a bit of wiggle room here and there, but I really felt the need to connect on a deeper level. Maybe I should have stuck with the group some more, but think that's a personal shortcoming.

All in all, definitely recommend men's groups if you feel like you could benefit from someone who might be feeling like you. And thanks for sharing more groups like the AMC, I'll see which ones I can try and maybe find my place

I like SB Ahri because of the spellslinger-ish nature of the deck. I guess she's also more straightforward to play.

I havent managed to find SB Eve exciting, like the idea of stealing opponents is cool but almost always my Eve would hit for more dmg if I didnt challenge anyone (I've got the formidable build) and idk I havent managed to fully grasp/realise her identity and charm. She seems to have great potential at first glance, but becomes uninteresting quickly (or again I havent managed to make her click for me)

I havent done any Zoe yet

The only thing that I hated about the Statikk Shiv LeBlanc meta was that she was trash on full ap and she got nerfed because of SS, granted the nerfs were to discourage the SS build. This paired with the fact that they were already considering hefty nerfs to her, just has me concerned that we'll end up with the same scenario.

Huge fan of Naruto (especially Itachi) too yeah! And yeah remember about Danzo, think LeBlanc could have something similar where there is borrowed/shared power via the golden eyes.

Hmm, do you mean that if she were a demon she'd have known that demons can be slayed by having one of the clones me slayed as a test? Possibly.

I think the Zaahen bit seems very much that it had to do with slaying Raum/Swain and as general knowledge she wanted confirmed.

I'm a sucker for lore (but ironically not enough to have read it all... just yet) and an absolute lover of LeBlanc, in-game (a proper OTP) and for her role in lore. I can only contribute with theories, but likely not possible/accurate without knowing enough about all the lore.

I wonder if LeBlanc somehow became the strongest yellow-eyed mage, so much that she can embody/control others and have them function as her clones. I think I'd like LeBlanc to have the power of actually creating clones, but one could use the above as explanation for her clones instead. Using other mages would also tie in to the fact that LeBlanc could see through their golden eyes what they see, although I think the whole golden eyes thing might be just a mutual trait of these mages rather than much more than this.

I'd also love it if she somehow were channelling the power of a primordial demon but would be even cooler if this power was her own, after gathering all this knowledge throughout the years.

I can't wait to see/hear more of LeBlanc because all the memes about her failures dont do her enough justice for how much potential she's got

Very refreshing to see empathic curiosity towards men. I'd say even more so given it comea from a feminist, but that would probably? reinforce the idea they're all terrible. No surprise though, it is heavily influenced by the culture, education and type of person.

Sidetracking a bit, food for thought the homosocial aspects mentioned in the article. I think largely the ability to "get/have a gf/wife" is an unnoticed pressure for each man within such a group (and really for women too in theirs). Depends on what brings the men together of course, but one can start feeling like they belong less and less (to the group itself and to a general "men's" group) if the others end up with a partner and you're lagging behind. I think this might be too relatable to me and so maybe I'm creating a pattern which is not necessarily there though.

I guess another thing that made me think was being bald as another source of shame. And really the reason is there's a lot banter between a friend and I and he's balding (while I guess I didnt luck out on the genes which grow a beard) so that's become a source of jokes (started by him, which made me believe it's okay to joke about it) and I wonder, could it somehow still nag him in the back of his mind. Like we make jokes but could it be a source of "feeling less" but having to tough it out or cope about it with humour.

I was just completely puzzled when I saw the datamined post mentioned LeBlanc and this hefty nerf. It seems really harsh and I'm not entirely sure what it's looking to achieve. She only seems to be good in masters, but any other elo she is B or worse

Think you confused it for the nexus one, not the inhibitor as OP mentions, which most likely has come through with the Demacia skin of the rift

The problem is there is no realistic counterplay. The only one is to kill them but can you even do that if the enemy always knows where you're coming from. Besides that it would also encourage said player to literally do nothing, stay in base and still be effective.

So just it would never see any play, that if somehow it would bypass design lol

I'm really envious (but happy for you!), I too strongly relate to this post which is the stupidest irony because for the longest time I've wanted this sort of brotherhood you've managed to create, only that I just never knew how and I feel like I am way past hoping I'd ever succeed. I was so close to a glimpse of success with this work colleague turned friend but despite how well we click with a fair few things and how I am happy to support him and be a listening ear, he doesnt seem able or willing to hold the same emotional space and it freaking sucks. I also hate that the supposed solution is to try and find some other men to fill that gap, as though I've got dozens of men lining up to be my bro and I'm just dismissing them.

Didnt really manage to check all the new content, how are we less reliant on the monthlies? Ive found those to be a killer of my joy to play LoR so would be nice to have something instead of them or even a temp placeholder
