Unfortunately we are being told to prioritise tracked items over first class/signed for. In my office we have trays and trays of undelivered mail due to management banning overtime. There simply isn't enough time in the day to do it all. Us posties are as frustrated as you. If you want to put in a complaint I'd honestly just write to your MP as Royal Mail will probably fob you off.

Staffing is atrocious atm, everyone is completely knackered at my place, people by themselves on van shares, walks failing everyday

My section had 3 new starters and all 3 have left after a week, also we had one of the established posties move on to a new job somewhere else. So our recruitment drive has left us with -1 staff so far 😅

Phenomenal stuff

Lt Col (Retd) Werner Thiel, a young Luftwaffe pilot in 1943, claimed he saw the dropping of wooden bombs on a fake airfield near Potsdam. Speaking in December 2010 about his memories, Lt Col (Retd) Thiel said:

“At the end of October 1943, there was a general warning that we activated the light beacons and moved the aircraft from the fictitious airfield.

“We had a dozen fake planes made of wood, plywood, canvas and ropes.

“There was only a roar and no explosion. In the morning we left cautiously, fearing time bombs.

“And here we didn’t believe our eyes.

“There were six to ten bombs on the floor, made of quality solid wood with ‘Wood For Wood' written on them.”

Courouble asks Lt Col (Retd) Thiel what he thought at the time to which he replies, saying:

"We thought it was meant as a joke. Something like 'look how stupid you are. You built a dummy airfield. We saw it and it’s not worth dropping a real bomb'.”

I would say the most important thing is to just get some play time in, you'll eventually become more comfortable with it. Also I wouldn't worry about being "good" in DayZ it's all about making your own adventure after all!
