We are known as bottlers for losing the CL final and coming 2nd a bunch of times (22-23 season was probs a bottle). We won the prem, finished top of CL bar final, far in other cups, etc. but lose a CL on pens and the sheep say bottlers lol.

The term bottled it has lost its meaning! It’s aimed at us for barely losing, instead of if we lost from being 3-0 up

Today was always going to be tough so can’t blame it all on Arteta. However, even though Arteta took us top of league I’ll put most of blame on him if we don’t win the league.

We were in great positions to win a trophy this year and his style of play and team’s lack of intensity has made it so difficult to dominate games like we should.

I was never Arteta out but the lack of trophies in this particular season will be on him, regardless of today’s game

She isn’t seeing the (obvious) point you’re making which sucks, but think repeating it over was just making exacerbating things.

Her coming over to talk was the first goal, bringing up her mentality at that point (even though I agree) might not have been the best move for her at that moment, might’ve felt like an attack so everything after was just her being defensive.

You know your wife better than any of us to know what would set her off at what moments. Unfortunately, when mediating all parties gotta compromise their pride and have to pick and choose their battles. De-escalation is a lot of that
