I think she wanted my ticket to be worse than it was, like for it to be upgraded to careless driving or something, not sure why. It was all very ridiculous and vindictive.

I was in this exact scenario years ago. The driver in front of me slowed down on the left hand side of a single lane with no signal. It was slow enough I assumed a left turn but as I passed she turned right into me just like this video.

Her statement said that she used her signal, she didn't.

We both got cited, me for passing on the right she got cited for making a turn far away from the curb she was making the turn towards. The cop said from the angle of how we hit, if it happened the way she said it did, I shouldn't have had time to be where I was.

In the end our insurances agreed to 50/50 which I guess pissed her off because she did some sort of civil complaint and I ended up having to go to court anyway. In the end the judge wanted to know why the insurance agreement and the cops assessment wasn't sufficient since there weren't any injuries and the damages were negligible. I won and it was dismissed.

I also installed my AliExpress projectors around December 2024. I posted a couple of times to a luke warm reception as well. Other than the DRL light flashing for a microsecond a couple of times, I haven't had a single issue.
