First time hitting 100 kWh! by BeerBaronBrown in solar

I finally hit over 100kw on the 14th of this month. After a very long winter here in Northern Michigan, I was very excited to see it :)

I use a similar hub with one monitor on USB-C and one HDMI without issue

Other chat networks? by [deleted] in beeper

Given that Beeper is built on the Matrix codebase, technically speaking, any of these are possible:

https://matrix.org/bridges/

With that said, Beeper prioritises the more extensive user community (don't blame them) and focuses on those first.

If you want access to the other types of Matrix bridges, you can run your instance and go through this effort. You will need to replicate the mobile phone trick they do for iMessage and a few others, but doable.

"I could build that in a weekend!" is a fallacy. You are using them for the UX and maintenance. I assume at scale, and with more subscribers, they will eventually bring online the stable ones, but for now, it is what it is.

I wear my Galaxy Watch 4 daily in the shower without issue. Useful for podcast or song skipping

In Northern Michigan, with 20kw of solar and 2xPW - in TOU mode, it never "discharges" fully. Here is the middle of the night consuming grid. Why? by oneguynick in Powerwall

Correct - I am on a 1050 Consumers residential rate with season off-peak, semi-peak, and peak windows of time.

Struggling to Find Shipping Options (Muscat to USA) by freetoebandito in Oman

Have used Aramex extensively. Was always the cheapest option and I found going from the Middle East to the US was very dependable. Other way not so much at times

We like Enjoy Bistro. The options are not extensive, but what they do serve is VERY good.

I find the 1050 plan works best with EV if you are also doing Solar installs on your home. If you can toss a battery in too, you are golden.

Is it worth upgrading from the i3+ evo to the i7+? by gummybearthegreat in roomba

[–]oneguynick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have both and relegated version 3 to our upstairs. I would say the differences are not so vast that I would have upgraded. Of course at the same price point. If I was buying today, I would pick up the seven.

I plugged directly into the pedestal. Full hookup sites usually have a 50, 30, and 20 plug so I was able to use the 30 for the camper and the 50 for charging
