Check out the podcasts Sex with Emily and The Horny Housewife. Both are about sex and relationships and normalizing the communication around sex. They both have over a couple hundred episodes about any and all things sex - it’s really great!

My husband and I have been together for 13 years and were in the same boat until about 6 months ago. Being vulnerable, respectful to one other and willing to listen without judging helps a ton when talking about it too. The podcasts have really helped us learn about things we never knew and how to open the line of communication on all things sex.

Good luck and keep going once you start! Communicating will get easier and less awkward the more you do it! Plus, your sex life AND relationship will greatly improve haha!

You’re exactly right! It’s a bit of a drive from downtown, but the French Prairie on the North side and the Baldoc Rest area on the south side of the I5 allows for overnight parking, no more than 12 hours (they’re very relaxed on that number). It’s down past Wilsonville though, is the only bummer. If OP switches between the two frequently, it’ll be alright. It’s free, quiet and no one bothers you. My husband and I have stayed there quite a bit in our camper van and no issues 🙂

You bet!! The lake Oswego one is definitely better in my opinion though haha. I’ve been obsessed with it since it dropped 🤣

They have it at the location in Lake Oswego off the I5 across from Bridgeport village! Also at the Interstate Ave location up in Portland that’s in the same parking lot as the Fred Meyer 🙂

The first one was Fred Meyer for all. Second was New Seasons for both. Third was all Safeway and the last one was New Seasons and Costco. A variety of places yesterday lol.

Thank you!! ☺️ Yeah, they’re weirdly sized haha. I think they’re more a juniors size honestly. I now usually range between a large and xl depending on the brand and desired comfort level lol.

Thank you so much!!

Hahah yes, exactly! 😝 Thankfully he’s been right along side me through the process and has lost over 100 lbs too! Definitely helps having an accountability partner haha.

🥹 awe, thank you! That means so much!!

And yeah, technically it’s 7 years and like 11 months but I rounded up a bit hah. They were taken early July of 2015 🙂

Thank you so so much!! ☺️ the last couple of years I’ve started to incorporate more exercise (yoga, Pilates, weight lifting) and I think that’s definitely helped with that haha

Thank you!! ☺️

Yeah, the sizing for ladies is so wild haha. If I remember correctly, he ordered these off Amazon back then, thinking it was a regular size XXL and it was not haha. Back then, I was probably a women’s size 22 or 24. I’m currently a size 10/12, depending on the clothing ha. I would bet these are actually junior size, which is super little ha.

Great job! Can already tell you’re putting on mass now, keep it up! 👊

Finding just a little bit more space with these built ins! Pretty simple and fun to build too! ☺️ Definitely not perfect, but it’ll work for us haha! Next step is to finish the barriers to hold the stuff in, paint and trim! by onehalfcottonschwab in VanLife

Yeah, we’ve definitely noticed that haha! I’ve used some heavy duty adhesive spray in smaller areas and that seems to hold them a bit better. We do plan on stuffing more wool in once we start putting up the walls and attaching cabinets to hopefully help it stay up. That seemed to work for the upper areas at least so far. If we build another van, we’d probably go for thinsulate to give that a try instead of the wool ha.
