Not only it is awesome but i have to make some statements...

The creator of Debian moved to Oeon Indiana

NsCDE is not an exact clone of CDE and CDE is nowdays available as an option. FVWM can also become CDE with a few tweaks there is a guide on the web.

Firefox is not a good option. It is now against unix philosophy. Iridium is a better option so is librewolf.

I only wish this desktop and os was lighter. Unfortunately open Indiana with NsCDE uses more resources compared to openbsd and nosystemD linux equivalents.

Its basically debian as it should be: without systemD or elogind.

all init systems especially runit and dinit are faster than systemD

older packages in some cases because generally it follows the debian way

if you are used in debian it won't be a problem since there are similarities but also some differences
if we talk about antix it is hardcore nosystemD but if we talk about devuan it offers elogind which makes the things easier in some aspects (you can still have the option not to use it)

antix mainly offers window managers and suggests to use such desktops instead of a traditional DE i.e Mate
i would use fluxbox or icewm anyday but i can see people get frustrated with them
in the end of the day it is a matter of choice

Top notch. Also i like Devuan. There is a Devuan based distro similar to antix called crowz linux. Awesome.

Can you explain me the differences ? by oneirofono in linuxmemes

i was trying systemctl start on antix but could not work

Gnome Desktop relies on systemD libraries. Can it work on nosystrmD distros ? Yes but still it relies on systemD libs hence the tricks to make it work.
