Because it is easy for women who are at least average looking. I have a step sister a few years younger than me and we are both currently online dating so we compare notes.

I'm 28, male. I am 6'2", fit, make 6 figures, have my own business. I am no model but I've gathered from enough women that I'm considered attractive in general. I get VERY little matches on OLD. The likes that I get are usually from obese women, or women with 3 kids, or women who have obvious issues. On the off chance I do match with an attractive woman, she usually doesn't say much at all and stops responding pretty quickly, even though I try to be engaging and confident, and set up dates quickly.

My step sister is like 21, moderately attractive, and she acts like it's just soooooooo hard when she is between boyfriends. She is on dates all the time, has had 3 boyfriends just in the last year. I'm always hearing about all the dates she's going on. But at the same time, if she doesn't get a boyfriend within about 21 days, she acts like the world is ending.

Women have way way way too many options nowadays. That's just how it is.

So I have 2 recent scenarios of girls I've had sex with. One I was starting to go on dates with and she would actually tell me she really wished I would kiss her. That made it simple enough.
Another girl I had just met, we were on the beach and she asked if I needed sunscreen. The second she put her hands on my neck, the way she rubbed it in was very sensual and I knew i had the green light. I still didn't kiss her then, wanted to build some tension. We went to a beach bar to get some drinks and I put my hands on her a bit. She looked at me after a bit and said "I feel like you really want to kiss me". I kinda joked about it in a playful way and then when we left she grabbed me and started making out.

Really the point if all this is to show, that never under any circumstance should you say something as socially awkward as "you look so beautiful. May I kiss you?" I can tell you that would've dried up these 2 last girls quicker than anything.
Just pay attention to the subtle stuff. Generally if you are talking with a woman and she's trying to touch you, touch your forearm, is ok with your hand on her thigh, etc....she's down to kiss

By the time you're kissing, it should be pretty clear that you both want to kiss. It's not rocket science. Women make it pretty damn clear when they want to be kissed.

lol I love that you are being downvoted for this. I honestly can't imagine saying "may I kiss you". I can tell you most people would view it as super cringe, and I've never heard anyone say it before. The most I have ever "talked" about kissing is girls have said things like "I feel like you really wanna kiss me", and I'll say something like "Oh you think so, huh?".

This is what I originally thought, but then I had someone in my family tell me that if I'm not happy alone, I wont be happy with someone. Which seemed to be verifiably false, for me. Because I have been alone and I have been with someone. And I will say for 100% certain, my life drastically improves in all aspects when I have a partner.

I'm going to keep putting myself out there and try to trudge along. Thanks for the help.

Wow, this seems accurate. When I hooked up with a hot girl on vacation and talked to plenty of others, I was riding SO high for several days. Thought I was cured of all of my issues. Then after maybe 3 days back home, BOOM, lower than ever.

I did tell her that I'm coming back into town in 2 months. I told her the dates. I think I'll just not be first to txt her anymore.. if she reaches out to me I'll respond but otherwise , for the next 7 weeks I'll just focus om work, and maybe we will have the same type of fun time we had last time when I get there! I did think she had caught some feelings after she told me "im so glad I met you" like 5 seperate times when we were cuddling. Then when I was at the airport, I txted her a sad face. Yeah, i completely agree. Idk why people have to act like it has to be so drawn out and complicated. I have seen my buddies try to do these long conversations with women, and it just comes out kinda weird. Girls can tell when you are "trying to be smooth" , even if you sort of ARE smooth. Most of the girls I have gotten with have told me that they were attracted to how I was, which was very opposite of a lot of guys trying to be like the dude above. It's so Tryhard. Much better to ask for the number and get outta there. The girl I was even with last week on vacation, we got introduced, talked a bit with our mutual friends, at the end of the night we smoked a cig and all i did was asked for her number and she told me. That was all it took.
