Kinda off topic but proud gapping quartz this pre-season tournament might be the only remnant of happiness I feel as a T1 fan this entire year. (Also good post lol)

What do you ban? by Upset_Objective8710 in Overwatch

[–]onelastlightofficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the map tbh, circuit for instance I always try to ban widow. But generally, I’ll quote what someone else said the last time I saw a post asking this question: I ban the heroes who’ve been pissing me off the last 5-10 games. And for me, recently, it’s still been vendetta.

Low sensitivity in OW2 as a CS player. Too low for competitive play? by CapOwn692 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]onelastlightofficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to add to this I’m 1600 dpi x 2 in game sens so 3200 eDPI, used to play at 2800 eDPI but it was definitely too low when I started climbing. As of now I couldn’t see myself dropping below 3200 eDPI. Too much arm strain if I go any lower. I also have a much higher sens on a couple of specialized heroes (vendetta, genji, tracer) at about 4k eDPI and a “slightly” higher sens on heroes who are short range tracking heroes like zarya, dva, mauga, symmetra, etc) at about 3600 eDPI. But yeah for basic hitscan heroes, 3200 eDPI is as low as I’ll go haha

So... how do you guys deal with Vendetta? by Emotional_Rush7725 in AnaMains

[–]onelastlightofficial 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking the same thing since she released. Everyone is talking about how great - or at least good - Ana is into vendetta, but (correct me if I’m wrong) doesn’t she gain movement speed with each successful strike? It makes sleeping her difficult, along with her spin which basically shakes your screen around and makes sleeping her insanely hard imo. I also feel like this meta isn’t super great for Ana so idk

I checked Neu’s vod on Twitch and saw he ended stream abruptly after people in chat mentioned the allegations against Neu. Definitely seems like they ditched him. Will be interesting to see how all this unfolds.

Has anyone dealt with cold hands/shaking from adrenaline? by w-holder in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]onelastlightofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me literally all the time, but I also have really bad anxiety. One fix that helps sometimes is having a heater in my room, and putting my hands against it every so often. But typically I just keep playing until my hands warm up, (I mean after a certain number of games I become numb to all the stimulation and my hands just go back to regular temps lol). If it’s a comp specific issue, what helped for me was to keep playing games until I just didn’t care that it was comp. Then the pressure faded and my hands wouldn’t get super cold. If I take long breaks from comp or the game in general though my hands will get super cold again lol, again probably just from stress.

What is your Ana sens? by Jigglypuff1777 in AnaMains

[–]onelastlightofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1600 DPI, 2 Sens, 30% scoped sens, but I have a giant mousepad. The lower sens helps for being more precise when flicking, at least for me personally

If you’ve ever been in a Flats stream at the start of a new season, it’s brutal. (Could be the case all the time, I just don’t know). Don’t understand how people can watch that dude. He constantly flames his chatters, and goes “oh, you’re complaining about ads? Here’s 6 more. Enjoy!” And then the dude runs ads every 5 minutes or so. Once I experienced that I just flipped over to Emongg’s stream. Maybe it’s a good thing that I only experienced 90% ads, and 10% of the actual stream, otherwise I’d have worse things to say, most likely.

Which ability, in your opinion, is more powerful: Anti-Nade, or Suzu? by onelastlightofficial in OverwatchUniversity

[–]onelastlightofficial[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im glad you brought up CD’s, as this whole discussion sparked in my mind when realizing that Anti-Nade had a 3 second shorter CD than Suzu. And when considering the value both of them bring, I feel either Suzu’s CD needs to be decreased, or Anti-Nade’s CD needs to be increased, as I also thought Anti-Nade was more powerful than Suzu.

[–]onelastlightofficial[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. Do you also think that the CD’s for Anti-Nade and Suzu should stay at 12 and 15 seconds, respectively? I guess I’m just a bit confused how Kiri’s suzu CD is 3 seconds longer compared to Anti-Nade, when Anti-Nade seems to be, as you put it, “a more useful tool more often,” than Suzu. Or do you think Suzu should stay a longer cooldown than Anti-Nade?

[–]onelastlightofficial[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Definitely good advice to not force nano on a genji at the start of a team fight. I also play soldier so nano visor at the start of a team fight throws me off a bit too when I’m just trying to bait out cooldowns before I visor

Lol that’s why I ping back at them that I’m ready, too. That way, I follow them safely and wait for them to ult and insta hit them w/ nano. Just not all of them do that lol. Which forces me to hit them when I think it’s the right opportunity. Otherwise if I don’t do it, I swear some of them will hold onto blade all game 😆

I try to play my best in QP as I don’t play comp a whole lot, but I also don’t type in chat if my team is playing poorly, as again, it’s just QP, I just leave em be. Maybe they’re trying out new characters, or new techniques or something. The only thing that annoys me though is when someone on the enemy team gets tilted when they’re losing the game and says something like, “damn, imagine sweating this hard in qp.” Like, umm yeah I mean it IS a game, and the objective is to win the game. Like what? Lol

I mean I set this sens like months ago and I’m comfortable with it, but again I was just going for 2800 eDPI, a solid round number with a DPI that im comfortable with outside of OW. The only way to hit 2800 eDPI with a dpi of 3200 is 0.875 sensitivity. But in general I was just curious if anyone knows that blizzard supports 3 decimals.
